Her 2016 was meant for her. It was rock solid performance! I tried doing a single turn on one tile on the floor only to find myself on a different tile.
It was her double L turn. She only got credited with a 1.5 because she dropped her leg too fast before completing the rotation and there was at least a .3 deduction for the balance checks.

This is very odd to me why downgrade soo much at the Olympics was she injured also for anyone wondering the mid conection in the beginning with her mount was what took her out of contention bc if she had done she had in the past she would’ve gotten a connection bonus and one less balance check

@@Fvhlipe That's incorrect. The Wevers was downgraded to L turn 1.5 and they did pay the L turn + turn + double + split + jump full; but yes, she would have qualified with a better Wevers turn.

Honestly the Wevers double L turn was close enough to being right round. I mean common its the beam. That's so difficult its not even funny lol. I've seen Mustafina skill (the triple Y turn on floor) get given credit when the credit was SO not due. Many rimes with the 3 rotations. Easier to fall dramatically out of it if not centered and rotated all the way. For how far Wevers was off on that double L turn through the whole part of the 2nd turn...I'd give her the Difficulty and take a tenth or 2 off Thats it. Because otherwise it.was beautiful. Most not gymnastics fanatics wouldn't have Even known there was a mistake at all there lol

Las acrobacias de las chinas son igual o menos difíciles que lo que ella hace, solo que hacen muchas conexiones para incrementar su dificultad . @@lucia60001 tuvo errores pero su rutina no es pobre, tiene buen nivel de dificultad, ademas esto son las clasificaciones, no las finales, solo que tu solo te fijas en los mortales o combinaciones de acrobacias, casi nadie hace los giros como Sanne, por algo el doble giro con pierna en 90 grados tiene su nombre. Sabias eso????

En este caso le doy la razón a los jueces, ella no convenció.

She was also competing injured, which might have contributed to some of the issues.

The Dutch team really had a terrible qualifying competition all around unfortunately. But their outfits were really great!

Low difficulty. A 5.8 compared to the 6.6 at the Rio Olympics. Also there was tougher competition on the beam at this Olympics. Sanne was 3rd reserve
