    Her balance beam routine from Rio was one of the greatest moments in the sport. For one, the first Dutch medal ever for a woman in gymnastics, and second- just a unique and beautiful composition.

    Her double L is one of the most glorious original beam skills of all times! 😍
    She also actually comes closer to making the half turn on the new bars trend than most (although with my gutted bars knowledge, she could be catching in a different grip or something 😂).
    In any case, she deserves all the flowers!! 👏 👏

    Correct me if I'm wrong, but if she puts both elements in the same routine, one of them will not be counted in the final grade, according to the new code. Of course, if she manages to execute them correctly, she'll put her name on both elements, but in terms of series composition it would be a waste.

    Didn't someone already do the first skill? I swear I saw it before recently in competition. Also the second skill with the half twist is so sloppy releasing to the lower bar with the way she slpits her legs. If she can hold form it'll be much more impressive but I suspect she struggles with natural instincts to aid her completion by using the split to get around. Look at me acting like I know anything.

  • @mrtorstai5336
    @mrtorstai5336 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Don´t like her at all. Only Spinning this way that way on beam looks boring. Once you know how to do it, you do it. Single, double, triple, leg low, middle, up, does not matter. I know, what I am talking about, I was a ballet dancer. Pauline Schäfer from Germany has a much more interesting excercise including her very own element, which only she can handle. That I look at over and over again. She is also a very humble athlete.
    Sanne instead is very annoying:, she has always this book with her, counting together the points (for combinations) she made. Only If she was successful!! Otherwise you won´t see her beeing so eager to count, what points she won´t get. Disgusting attitude.
    About her uneven bar routine: Yes, it is difficult, but the excecussion is very unclean in every single clip you showed, so it may get a higher technical source score but very low execussion scores, so what is the point?

    • @JasonQiuMusic

      I don't know how writing in a notebook is disgusting. There's nothing wrong with counting up your own connections to make sure you're getting the right start value. In competition, every tenth makes a difference.
