Aurora HDR. I'm not a fan of subscription based software, so I try to avoid Adobe as much as I can. That's why I use Davinci Resolve for editing instead of Premiere Pro too.
Again a nice short sharp and to the point video. nice for once to hear someone say' this is what you can do with what you've got' as opposed to keep, as you say, winging on, and on, and on about what the drione can't do. Well done chum.

I have to say I’m loving this channel! The content is first rate and I’ve learnt a lot these last few days 🙌🏻 had no idea the mavic mini was so capable! Glad i bought one.
Oh my gosh, my favorite part of Scotland.....anywhere along the A-82 in Rannoch Moor and all the way up to Fort William. Thank you for all of these instructional videos. I just received my Mavic Mini this past Monday and still learning my craft. I hope you and your family are well and safe.
So lucky that i stumbled on your channel! This month i’ll get my mavic mini and thanks to you both i can’t want to get started. Greetings from a dutchie👍
I love this video and I love your attitude. I love the concept of squeezing every bit out of something that you can. I was looking at looking at picking up a used Mavic 2 Pro but I could still save some money and pick up a brand new Mini and you are prompting me to rethink that option.
Great tutorial! Why did you start with boosting exposure then dropping highlights instead of leaving exposure as is then boosting shadows? Just curious if there's a benefit. Again, great video! And beautiful image!
Greetings from Cyprus. Great video proving that obstacles can be overcome, even though there are equipment limitations. I'm sure everyone would like an unlimited budget, but very few do in reality. Happy Xmas and a great new year for 2020. Cheers
Hi guys love your videos find them easy to follow and understand I have a Mavic mini and have been trying to take a hdr photo but with not much success I see to struggle with ghosting in the merge I only have a iPad to edit my pics/videos on and are using afenity photos any tips would be appreciated or another app that I could merge the pics on please
I really like the final picture, but I'm not a fan of the big purple/pink lens flare. I would have switched the purple color to a orange one personally :) Great video by the way!
Great video!! 👏 I should be ordering my Mini (Fly More Combo) this week...I've only ever owned drones under $100, pretty much little fun toys nothing with cameras. I've been watching a ton of Mavic Mini related content on YT for the past two weeks!
Thanks Stuart. Always enjoy your helpful videos. Although I have a typhoon H and a mavic pro 2 my computer is old and won't run anything over 1080p. I haven't a clue about editing so will have to learn. So at the moment I'm stuck with jpeg for photos and 1080p for video. Thanks for showing us all what's possible to archive with the right equipment.
Stuart, loving your channel so so helpful! Can you make a new video for doing panoramic photos on the mini and snitching in Lightroom as you've mentioned a few times. I see your older video from 2017 but it's not Lightroom. Cheers!
Maybe I’m missing something, but how are you recording audio with the Mavic Mini?? Or did you use a different device for audio and then sync them? If the later, good job syncing.. if the former, please explain.
Stacking function in Photoshop can be a life saver, if the photos are not perfectly aligned: File > Scripts > Load Files into Stack Tick the box for "Attempt to Automatically Align Source Images"
Dear Stewart, dear Scottish subscribers, May I ask a question not about drones but about Scotland? What would be the best location to be based for several weeks while being able to reach photogenic spots in a couple of hours. Recently turned freelancer, I like to make long term travels, working at the same time from a hotel or B&B and going out when the weather allows it.
Thank you so much for your professional advice, for people like myself just starting out in photography and which an extremely tight budget all I could afford was the mavic mini, it's an awesome drone and yes has limitations but with your expertise have shown use that it is possible to get awesome results from a awesome but budget drone, many thank yous again (you have a new subscriber)
Do you think this multiple-shots-from-one-position would work for other non sunset type of shots? I mean if I applied this technique to other important shots would it pay off?
Very impressive result! I use Lightroom too, but only ever used it with RAW files. No idea this results were possible with JPG's. I'm gonna try this too with my Mavic Mini. By the way, any change to get rid of that lens glare? Thanks, and keep up the good work!
Wow great video really impressed as my previous drone did raw photos and i do use Lightroom to merge. Just a question, were you not tempted to use an ND filter and which one would you recommend in a similar situation
Hey! ND filters won't serve any purpose here (except for graduated NDs which only darken the top half of the image). Normal NDs just darken the entire image which is good for long exposure photography or for getting a 1/50th shutter for 24/25 fps video.
Hi! i live your videos. you are a big reason why i decided to get a drone. i am 100% new to photography/video and drones. i baught the mini for this reason. Would you be willing to do a tutorial of the photo editor on the fly app? im having trouble with mine. every time i use the app to edit a photo, it saves it as a 2 second video. please help 😊
Regarding Mavic Pro AEB. After clicking Camera Icon, then clicking Photo, I only have 'Single Shot' Option... nothing else! The other 4 choices are not even there. Thing is it worked earlier today just like you show and I successfulluy did a 3 shot AEB test no problem. But now, those other 4 options only show when the iPhone 8 with IOS 13 & RC, are disconnected from drone. I did a 'Camera Rest" someone mentioned in a forum, but it did not resolve this problem. I have turned off & turned everything back on to no avail. I have version DJI Go App 4.3.38, & am all updated on the Mavic Pro from the DJI Assistant. Please... any ideas??
Well done !! Nice idea and nice tutorial after all! And good tips for the editing. I would like to ask your opinion: I am a owner of Spark and i am thinking of getting the mini. Does it worth it? Hey folks! What software do you use for HDR photography? Leave your suggestions below for those who don't have access to Lightroom! Cheers!!
Amaziing job thank u im going to use more often HDR photographie now
I use Photoshop CS6. Merge to HDR Pro and Photomerge are my 2 most used Automations. Merge to HDR Pro for HDRs and Photomerge for Panoramas.
Aurora HDR. I'm not a fan of subscription based software, so I try to avoid Adobe as much as I can. That's why I use Davinci Resolve for editing instead of Premiere Pro too.
Can I do this technique using Wondershare Filmora 9? Or is that only for video?
Slappy McSlapster Filmora is only for video editing
