Thanks for that review on your boat. I been in boats my whole life. Was looking for a honest review like this on the Xpress bay series. I went with a h22. We don’t live far from each other. I subscribed
Thank's for this video! Yes, I'm at least one of the guys that purchased a new Xpress after seeing yours! It's being welded together & constructed in the factory as we speak, supposed to be ready for us by late August, early September. Will be used up North in Maryland, on the Chesapeake bay, we have a decent Striped bass (Rock fish) fishery in the fall & early winter so hopefully will get to use it before the freezing weather. Thanks again for the video & posting my comment as well!- Andy
Had my 2022 H20Bay since 4/1/22. Super tough. I opted for the 150 and I’ve had the prop out of the water at 50+ mph. It takes a beating and has never even acted funny. Optimum fishing machine and super family friendly for tubing and kid days on the lake. No wood, no rot, low maintenance. Simple trailer. Great experience for me…outside of the livewell pluming leak the first season. Local Xpress dealer Identified it and fixed it that winter. Dust dry when I pull the plug after 10-12 hour days ever since.
ive owned boats and worked on boats since 1967, your review is very good, did you know your depth finder can display speed, go into settings, edit overlays and select gps speed. easy as pie!!!!
Good afternoon, I own a express 20hb with the 115 sho I saw your video showing are top speed. I can only top 35 mph. I was told to get a higher pitched prop. The boat came with the power tech 13.5 x 9 is that the prop installed on your motor?
It’s not a recirculating live well, It just overflows. Do you get a lot of rainwater gets in the console when it rains? The seat is too far from the console. I’m looking at ways to move it closer. I have the same exact year model.
Brother I haven’t been in the rain that much with this boat to be honest with you, and I agree with the seat being far but I really don’t find that a problem for me. And you right about the bulge situation, as I said in the video, I’m no boat professional, I’m just showing what I learned on my own (or didn’t haha). Next purchase would you chose another boat? Or stick with xpress?
My advice since watching others buy new Xpress boats… get it in the water before leaving vicinity of the dealer. If there are any overlooked leaks or adjustments that need addressed you will save yourself alot of frustration in first season. Don’t just drop it at your lakehouse 300 miles away and get angry when you find the issues. These boats are hand made and they are not water tested in Arkansas. The dealer is supposed to water test before delivery but many do not. Beyond that…beat em. They’ll take it. My 2022 H20Bay has been aggressively durability tested. They are tough.
Brother to be 100% honest with you I have no idea what brand is it, it came with the boat, I had the option to purchase it at the dealership. But I cost me $600. It’s a pretty good brand
