This is the best review on this boat I found so far. Answered most of my questions, very nice of you to make this video. Almost purchased a similar G3 until I was recommended the Xpress, & about to put a deposit down on the Xpress H20B Duck package with the 115 SHO. How does it perform in a slight chop? Any recommendations or advice before I pull the trigger is appreciated.
I really appreciate the feedback and the kind words my friend. I will be 100% honest with you. I was between xpress and G3 as well and for less price I got boat with more features. I’ve been having my boat for 2 years now and I haven’t yet had any type of problems going through rough water, I had to cross lakes in bad weather a few times and the way the new hull is design, the boat cuts through them pretty good without you getting wet. The Yamaha Sho on my opinion is the best engine Yamaha has ever made, I been stuck in the mud before and the beep noise of engine hot never even came on. The problems I had with the boat were trailer lights stopped working a few weeks after I got the boat ( but it happened to every boat I have ever had ), I had to install a perco switch to kill the whole power to the boat when I put on storage ( I killed a battery before because I got my trimming button wet in the front of the boat and it triggered the trim when I wasn’t looking, came back two weeks later to a dead battery and burnt fuses), and my speakers kept coming out because of the way they screwed it in, but those are minor details. The boat is super stable, makes good speed, it’s great in fuel, super comfortable. After two years I wouldn’t trade my boat for any 80k luxury boat
@@LivingOutdoors Thank You! Truly appreciate your info. I ordered this morning, not sure about which trolling motor, the one it comes with is a hand controlled 46, need to upgrade. Salesman said it will be 3 to 4 months before delivery! Thank you again!
How is the boat treating you? I’m looking into getting one but currently a fiberglass boat owner. How is the ride? I fish the rigolets to hopedale area and curious how she will ride. Everyone says the aluminum boats ride so rough and a little nervous.
Well Mr, the people you bought the boat from robbed you out of 20galons of fuel tank space. Just go look on xpress website it has all the specs. I hope you figure it out and get our money back
I’m looking at getting one. I’ve had a 20ft, & hate how tight it is with 3 or more people on at one time. If you could do it again, would you go bigger, or stay with the 20?
Definitely stay with the 20 for two reasons (very personal reasons): first I hate fishing with more than one guest in the boat, second I can go in super shallow water with a smaller boat and less weight in it. Now if those two things didn’t bother me I would definitely get the 22
@@LivingOutdoors the prices went up so much on them, I figured I might as well get the 22. What did you pay for your 20 if you don’t mind me asking. I remember when these boats were affordable.

Man i have no complaints about the boat. Still holding strong and yeah it runs great through rough water, actually better than every bay boat I’ve fished on
Good review! Love mine, just wish I had more time to use it
Best review on TH-cam finally someone tells the price thanks
I appreciate the kind words!!!
Thank you for the review. In the market and considering this boat.
Been having it for almost two years now and don’t regret it at all brother
Excellent boat and great demo

Did you mount that power poke your self or did you take it to a shop? I’m looking to buy one for mine
@@joshjones1834 it was mounted at the shop when I bought it
I have yet to get anything close to 40 gallons in my h20. I looked in the compartment and the tank is Mr and it took 26 gallons.

How do you find the boat is with fishing in shallow water? Sight fishing reds or passing through the marsh ?
My brother it’s a dream. Watch my videos sight fishing for redfish. Fish on six inches of water all day
