Bagrat remembered to max out his knight effectiveness that's how!
So he literally went "You force me to convert, I'll delete your army. Good deal huh?" Not to mention is the Dynasty of the Bagrationi, which existed for more than 1000 years in the 15th century. So they saw the fall of Rome and the Discovery of America. Pretty neat. But they managed to become the noble line of Georgia in the 10th century, cementing their claim on the sorrounding areas.
You could also talk about Tamar of Georgia, who is also interesting in my opinion.
It is not only a Georgian Dynatsy since the dynasty originates in Armenia the yhave been ruling in armenia since 800 ad and then also expanding into georgia and the yruled since 1600 ad and under the Russians ountille 1890 ad

@@user-brittania-prima They actually did, for like 200 years. They were also very closely related to Doukas and Makedon dynasties in Roman Empire through marriage. There were also several Bagrationi Kourapalates in Roman Empire (which was the title of de facto ruler when they had incapable emperors). Also, there is a well known theory (although not proven but also not disputed), that Peter the Great of Russia was a secret Bagrationi. It is a documented fact that Tsar Alexis couldn't conceive and Peter is a spitting image of Prince Erekle Bagrationi who liked to "visit" Tsaritsa Natalya and mysteriously dissapeared after Peter was born.
