This house is definitely one of my top 5 that I've ever seen someone explore. You did an amazing job showing all the interesting features and details of this incredible home! I find that time capsule houses with so much left behind are the ones that interest me most. Thanks so much for sharing this one. WE LOVED IT!!!!
The stove is identical to the one on Bewitched. It was advanced for it's time. It had a probe that went into the meat you were cooking. Before you went to work in the morning you could take the Roast out of the fridge and put it in the oven and insert the probe into the meat and seat the timer to click on while you are at work. When your Roast was done all the way through the oven would click off. It was high tech for the 1960s 🙂 you got home dinner was done.
That is very cool, I could see it being very useful. So do you know what the bottom part was? I couldn't figure it out in the video. Thanks very much for your comment!!
Wow I was obsessed with Bewitch, spent my childhood wiggling my nose in attempt to make magic happen and endangering myself climbing on top of wardrobes and banisters 😂
Liked the doilies! Pictures left really break my heart! Love the kitchen counter tops. Definitely a kitschy little place! The tile bench outside the bathroom was neat. Cool pin cushion! Freaky looking dragon on the stairway. The other murals were nice though. Not thrilled with the bar. Huge basement! What a shame that the train room is just deteriorating! ☹️ Definitely hate the pink velvet wallpaper! Love the stone work throughout. Definitely hate those speckled mirrors! The piano detail was awesome!
Definitely a wonderful video! Incredible! I so love the knight in shining armour and the wall paper!! Can't believe the hours of work that someone did on the hobby end!
I see the vintage Marantz receiver has been taken that was next to the fireplace. In some ways, I'm glad that it was at least somebody is going to get some use of it instead of it rotting in that house
I disagree, someone likely stole it to sell and now others won't be able to enjoy finding it when they explore this house. I mean I do understand your point of view but you never know when the owners may one day return. Thank you very much for your comment!!
Oh my gosh This really got me James, I was a teen all through the 70’s. This house had very nice things for the time period. The place looks pretty good considering. I hope a family member sees the photos and rescues them. ps...Therewas a little glass flower decoration above a tall dresser I love glass and old glass so pretty . 17:08
Ya, this really is a one of a kind house in this day and age, I loved it. There are so many little details I have missed that people have pointed out, I may have to make a return visit. Thank you very much for your comment!!
Glad you found me and this location is a great introduction for you, it's quite interesting. Thanks very much and hope to see you again in the comments!!
Where to begin but, WOW what a cool place, just so much has been left all these years, just love all the retro appliances, wallpaper, well just a lot. Thanks again James.
This place is truly amazing but really quite sad as it reminds me that you spend a lifetime accumulating everything you need for a comfortable life like the workshop, all those small components and equipment collected over decades, then you die, and the whole lot just rots away. The train set must have been fantastic when it was lovingly made and enjoyed. The trains are valuable so not surprised they went. Anyway that was a very interesting explore, fairly intact always good to see.
James, This is a really awesome home! From the Photos to the Art work and style of this house is just amazing. Looks like a really cool family to have as a neighbor. This place was full of life at onetime for sure! Sad to see them gone... Keep up the great work!👍
This was one amazing explore. A true time capsule. The owner must have had a lot of money to do the Hobby Trains. That is a pricy hobby to do. I love the excitement in your voice. One heck of an explore JH. Big Hugs 😊😊 P.s. did you take a selfie with that Armour Knight
It really is a great spot, glad you liked it. I'm not really a selfie kind of person 😄, otherwise that's a pretty good idea. Thanks a lot for commenting Kimmy!!
31:11 This is string art. It was very popular when I was a kid in the 70's. I've never seen horseshoes worked into it before, that is cool. It was mostly sailing ships and abstract shapes. We made some in arts and crafts. There was a lot of hammering nails and bruised thumbs involved.
What an unusual house. I feel like much of this was built by the owner. That basement was a complete maze of rooms. I’ll probably have dreams about it. Thanks for sharing. You always have interesting finds
AMAZING VIDEO!!🎉 This has to be in my top five favorite of the best time capsule video ever for me ❤😊 Man that was awesome 👍😎 Thanks for taking your time and opening things and doing a slow pan of the things and rooms so that I can see EVERYTHING in detail. I love this house and video 💯💕👋 Thanks for the back story of the house and people you try to find out about. I enjoy that part ad well 😁 A glimpse of the past for sure and interesting as well as a look into people's lives. Truly a blessing and time capsule. Sad it is rotting 😢 and😮 nobody has cared for it in a long time. The train town was lovely and beautiful to me 😊 someone took a lot of time building that ❤. Thanks for your time and efforts in making these amazing videos in my opinion. I appreciate the art of it and sentimental aspects of these homes and thinking about the people who lived in these homes. Times have changed for sure. Take care ✌️☺️
My grandfather spoke fluent German. He was a German medic during world War two. German Doctors only helped people. He was a very kind person anytime I wanted a soft drink or candy he would give me the money. Lord do I miss him 😢 thank you for the video it's a beautiful house or most certainly was a awesome home at one time.
Not in that day and age, very true. Although I have seen modern microwaves with metal inside, don't know what type but it's still weird to see. Thanks very much for your comment!!
Save any converse shoes you find as well as toy chrysler cars, jerseys, billiard balls numbered 10 and 14 and goosebumps books for me please. Sorry for the strange list but it's what I've seen the most in abandoned houses
@@StaticSpaces okay fine. Too bad they're going to waste. But if these places get demolished, it would be crazy and make no sense not to save them whether they belong to someone else or not, because it would just be a sickening waste

I agree, the time capsules are the most interesting for me too. Glad you two enjoyed it and thanks very much for your comment!!
Wow, 'time capsule', exactly right. Was it me, a sad vibe? With the clothes still there, wonder if folks passed. Great video, Thank You.....
These time capsules always have a sad atmosphere to them. Thank you very much for your comment!!
Watching your channel grow is the best❤
Thanks a lot for that kind comment!!

It certainly was a real shame that the train set is so destroyed but overall an exciting one. Glad you enjoyed it and thanks a lot for your comment!!
Oh wow!!! That is a nicely preserved time capsule!! A nice return to those days for those of us who lived it……brings back wonderful memories!!!
It really does bring back memories, such a great spot. Thanks a lot for your comment!!

Another great explore. We always look forward to your videos.
Glad you enjoyed it and thank you very much for your comment!!
The best part of this house was the train tracks. There’s never any trains just
tracks. Thanks for sharing James. Nice work!👍🆒
Ya, it's always just the tracks left over, glad there were some buildings and other accessories though. Thanks very much for your comment!!
It is clear that there has been a lot of traffic thru that house and too many of the visitors ransacked and broke things. Thank you for this video.
Yup I agree. I wish the other people were more respectful. Thank you very much for your comment!!
Hello James 👋I’m watching the video now ❤️
Where to begin but, WOW what a cool place, just so much has been left all these years, just love all the retro appliances, wallpaper, well just a lot. Thanks again James.

She probably crocheted those doilies.

Yeah, Microwaves don't have stainless steel inside of them.
Not in that day and age, very true. Although I have seen modern microwaves with metal inside, don't know what type but it's still weird to see. Thanks very much for your comment!!
I'm old so don't buy a lot of new things. Simply because old things are made better
That's a very good point
I think that piano is from the 1870's.
Really, what makes you say that? I don't know very much about pianos.
Thanks a lot for your comment!!

There have been many times where the homeowners have come back to sort things out and take their belongings years after...you just never know
Not microwave, cannot have ferrous metal in microwave.
Ya that's a good point, although some modern microwaves do contain metal on the inside. Thank you very much for your comment!!
Someone do exore before you returned?
I'm not sure I understand the question
