Hi James😊 I can't imagine having a home like this I mean WOW factor !! It's just awful to see a place like this with all the wood work ,and stone work just sitting there no one to give it life again . 😢

This is just the type of house I imagine when I think of Canada. If I won the lottery I’d love to move to Canada and have a house just like this built for me out in the country with a nice stream out the back, trees all around and mountains in the distance haha. Thanks James 😀

I've been in that house, when I was 6 or 7 (30ish years ago) ....I went with a friend's family to a party there. I remember the open area with the windows that faces the road had a long table, and it looked out towards the yard. That's all I can remember, I don't know the people at all. But I have always thought it was beautiful when I drove by. I didn't think it was still there, I thought they demolished it?
They probably were using the house strictly as a business up to 2019 but havent used the house to live in for longer than that. At 17:25 there were license plates on that shelf were you able to check those out. This house has way too much wood features for me. Makes it feel kinda dark. So many darn cobwebs yuck. Unfortunately house wont be able to be saved too many issues. Again like always great work JH. Big hugs 😊
Glad you enjoyed this one, it was a one of a kind. I didn't really pay too much attention to the plates but i turned them around for the video, for privacy reasons. I think you may be right about the business operating after they moved out, but then again, the floor in the greenhouse was in such rough shape...it's hard to know for sure. Thanks for the comment as always Kimmy!!

I bet that was a very much loved house before, a lot of lovely carvings and craft type things, very much in line with nature, if you feel like home in there, it has beautiful vibes form the previous owners. I wish you were a Son of theirs as you would have that house that you appreciate in it's current state.
This place really creeps me out!! Seems like a chaotic household too. Especially in the basement!! Basement didn't seem to have a rhyme or reason to it.
What province is this in? Such a shame they demolished it. I thought it looked salvageable. Hard to say from video but there seemed to be a lot of craftsmanship that went into building this house and it would have been great to fix it up.

It was in pretty rough shape to be honest, foundation problems and there was a big hole in the floor from where the roof had failed. I have seen worse rehabilitated but i honestly don't see many places getting renovated in Canada these days, it's mostly demolition. But they probably made a killing selling all of the wood in that place!
