That’s a most unusual house. The owners definitely liked bright colors, those bathrooms were something else,😎! I’m betting there have been squatter’s staying in that house. The owners seemed to have a lot of kids living there. Me being terrified of height’s, I’d never sleep thinking about my children falling off the banister’s and tumbling to the basement level. 😩 Great video James!
@@StaticSpaces, I agree. I like how you take the time to show different items or features. Many other explorers go too quickly or don't even notice the unique features. That's why I like watching your videos. The tiles in this place were epic. Never to be seen again.
Well I'm glad you both enjoy the detailed tours, Ill try to keep doing that in the future. Yup, those tiles are now gone forever but glad I could show them to you. Thanks so much for your comment!!
WOW! The tile work in the bathrooms was incredible! I agree that when these beautiful houses are demolished, it's erasing a piece of history. Such a shame. Thanks for sharing this one and I'm glad you were able to document it before it gets demolished!
Holy yikes the colors of those bathroom tiles and the floor tiles are just something else. It is just a rotten shame that a place with all the craftmanship that went into it has to demolished for the sake of progress so sad. Thanks for this walk through I can only imagine the intro you could come up with one of those balloons haha. Thanks again, Polly!
Ya, they certainly aren't building the new houses like this one. Really wish I could have done that intro...oh well. Glad you enjoyed it Polly and thank you very much for your comment!!
Its so sad to see a home like this get demolished and sickening for the neighbouring home that is only 20 years old. The GTA is getting way too cramped. Another great explore JH. Amazing work. Big Hugs 😊😊
What an incredible home! The tiles are gorgeous! Great explore James! I'm glad you filmed it before it is demolished because you just can't find tiles like that anymore
Static Spaces thanks for sharing this with me this video about Forgotten by Time... Exploring a Beautiful Large 1970s Abandoned House it was a really good explore awesome video and God Bless.
Really enjoyed the premiere!! It’s a great house sad it’s gone. Those bathrooms each had their own unique style ❤️. I always enjoy your videos and still pictures!! Keep up the wonderful work!!!!! Send some of those’d ketchup potato chips my way🤣🤣🤣🤣 Be safe!! Pam in Illinois where you can’t get the good junk food 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ya, this was an interesting one, too bad it had to go. Guess you will have to take a trip to Canada to try the ketchup chips...wonder if you can order them online? Glad you enjoyed it Pam and thanks a lot for your comment!!
That orange/brown bathroom has to be one of my favorite bathrooms ever! I would love to have a bathroom like that. The blue bathroom is also dreamy. Trying to distract myself today as I watch the Hurricane Helene waters creep up the street and approach my house. Still haven't finished working on all of the repairs needed after Hurricane Ian.
You and I seem to be the minority in liking that bathroom. 😂 Oh no, I hope the hurricane doesn't do too much damage to your home, best of luck!! Thanks very much for your comment!!
Loved the video ❤ I like house's like this because they are unique and a look back in time. Huge house, probably two families living there it looks like to me. Staircase was beautiful in my opinion and the bathrooms were insanely bad😆 but I loved to see them! Thanks 👍🎉
Yes, I think you are right about two families living here, maybe it was a multigenerational thing too. I'd take any of those bathrooms without question, ok, maybe the red one was a bit much! Glad you enjoyed it and thanks a lot for your comment!!
I know, u had what has happened to this area over the past couple of decades. With that said, it does give me a lot of new places to explore! Thanks a lot for your comment!!
I would hope a salvage company would come in and remove so many wonderful things. One may wonder why so much left behind as if the people were forced to leave in a hurry and could not go back for the rest.
Yes, many of the things in these homes are salvaged before demolition. Definitely odd leaving all the items behind though. Thanks very much for your comment!!
I very much understand why affordable homes are needed, but it’s so, so, sad to see these properties wiped out when you see the work that went into designing and building them and I’m sure whoever lived here worked hard to be able to afford it. The world seems to be revolving around affordable housing, what about those who can afford it? Which definitely isn’t me by the way 😂 I’m not going to sit here and pretend that I could. Can’t wait to see the house next door!
I agree, homes like these were well built and it's a shame to lose them. Don't worry about the wealthy that can afford more, they usually buy he's on larger lots and then tear down to rebuild. 😂 Glad you enjoyed this one Stephanie and thanks a lot for your comment!!
Ya, they were salvaging a lot of stuff...you will see that in the video from the other house. I ran out of time after filming that one and had to go back for photos later
Well the previous owners were probably offered a price way above the actual value to sell....honestly, I'd probably do the same! Thanks very much for your comment!!
They do actually but for the most part, those recycling companies only save the more modern design elements, like the ones from the house next door. Thank you very much for your comment!!
I think it was probably well taken care of by the original owners but it had been rented out for a few years after with the intention to demolish it. So the upkeep was probably lacking during that time. Thank you very much for your comment!!
Liked the bathrooms.!!!
They had so much character. Thanks very much for your comment!!
Wow Mr. Static nice find! Blue bathroom is my fav! Ty 4 the vid! B safe
Ya, that blue bathroom was pretty cool. Glad you liked it and thanks a lot for your comment!!
❤ WOW ! THAT ORANGE AND BLACK BATHROOM IS THE NEATEST ONE IVE EVER SEEN !❤
You can be stoned in that bathroom, even when you're not!!! lol
Certainly is unique. Thank you very much for your comment!!
I love houses from the 70s and 80s
That's good because there are a lot more videos of these types of homes. Thanks a lot for your comment!!

Definitely getting squatter vibes especially with the makeshift unfinished drywall. Interesting place
Your explore was far more extensive than the other explorers. Awsome

Good one James. I loved the blue tiles. You can keep the burnt orange ones.
Ya, that first bathroom isn't terribly popular but I liked it. Thanks very much for your comment!!
Great video, i loved the bathrooms, light fixtures and that staircase!
There certainly was a lot to like about this house. Thanks very much for your comment!!

Super cool old houses James! I really like these old party pads! Thanks for taking the time to video my friend.👍
These types of homes are some of my favorites. Thanks a lot for your comment DC!!

I'm really glad I made it there in time too, I almost missed it! But it was even better than I expected. Thanks very much for your comment!!
Oohhh that red bathroom is awesome too. You turned on the light and that song Roxanne started in my head.
Glad you enjoyed the tour and thanks very much for your comment!!
I love that blue tile! So sad it’ll just be torn up.
I agree, I'd like to have a bathroom like that. Thanks very much for your comment!!

Beautiful house, love the bathrooms, the orange and brown is my favorite! It's shameful to hear lovely homes like this down for dorky thownhouses.
I am glad there is at least one person that also likes the orange and brown one! Thank you very much for your comment!!
Great premier video James and I really enjoyed it 👍❤️😎
Glad you enjoyed it Fawn and thank you very much for your comment!!

He really does a fantastic job!!
Yes he does Pam 😁
So much stuff left behind, but more for you to check out! Thanks for taking the time to show it all, James! Take care, and stay safe! 🙂
Ya, exploring when there is stuff left behind is more interesting I think. Glad you enjoyed it Carrie and thanks so much for your comment!!

@@StaticSpaces I sure do enjoy them😊😊😊❤️❤️
Brown , orange and brown
Yup, it was a cool bathroom. Thanks very much for your comment!!
I believe that side fireplace is for a brass tray you place log's in for the fireplace.
Yes, I think it is too. But it's weird because they are usually deeper than that. Thank you very much for your comment!!
Thumbs up on the video James 😁
Thank you Fawn for all your comments!!
You are welcome James 😁
I’m loving all of the Bathrooms James ❤️
Glad you like them Fawn!!

I think someone is living in it
What makes you say that? There is almost no furniture inside
@@StaticSpaces maybe homeless
I think there may have been a homeless person staying there at one time
what city is this in
I don't share specifics but it's in Ontario, Canada. Thanks very much for watching!!
Too much tile, makes the house feel cold.
Ya but it's such a good one. Thanks a lot for watching!!
Damn, what a waste. The companies should let building recycling companies strip the good stuff.
They do actually but for the most part, those recycling companies only save the more modern design elements, like the ones from the house next door. Thank you very much for your comment!!
Judging by what I see the house was never kept nice probably had load kids to
