It was at the start lol. The novelty wore thin for me over time. I switched back to regular analog sticks and stuck kontrol freeks on them instead. It just felt better.
@Bim Barbieto That sounds like the weight & size of the stick is over powering the stock spring. Not a problem unless it starts to introduce stick drift. But thats usually down to worn X/Y contacts. If only sony supported its products not pushed expensive 3rd party endorsement pad options? Calculated scam? You decide. Micro adjustment in 0.05mm height increments to exactly taylor your aim parameters to your individual muscle memory, it dont get any better than that. It could even wipe out the mouse as the prefered FPS option?
Domed sticks usually are better for the right stick for aiming.
I find that to be a matter of preference. I quite like scalloped sticks for the right. But with this kit, thankfully you have a choice.

Sort of, not much smoother. It's loud and it snaps back so much, you end up with opposite direction inputs.
