This is excellent, I'm crying over here! Back in the day I watched the show semi-regularly. Some things are always lost in the translation, but the English translation was pretty good.
0:40 A missed chance for literal translation "Here we are going snake on the front into the ass" as a ridiculous version of more used Finnish proverb "climbing to the tree ass first"
We are very stubborn group of ppl. Russia knows this just by looking at history. We dont play games and we always stand behind our words. If it means that we need to go through a granite mountain.. we will.
That said I have request. React to Kummeli Perintöä odotellessa (While waiting for inheritance.) They don't seem to speak much so it's not too bad without subtitles.
Here's a mix of Finnish Comedic/Sketch series (1968-2013). Most propably lack (official) English subtitles. *Pasila* (2007-2013) aka _Jefferson Anderson_ (animated satirical sitcom) *Ihmisten puolue* (2008-2010), 36 * 15 min (YLE TV1) *Ketonen & Myllyrinne* (2006-2010), same Ketonen as in comedy _Lapland Odyssey_ (2010) *Läpiveto* (2006-2008), improvisation in front of live audience *Kumman kaa* (2003-2005), womens favourite? *Pulkkinen* (1999-2002) + movie: _Don’t Push the River_ (2001) *Isänmaan toivot* (1998-2002) *Studio Julmahuvi* (1998) (incl. _Roudasta rospuuttoon_) *Vintiöt* (1994-1995) *Kummeli* (1991-2004) + specials (1 in English) + movies *Velipuolikuu* (1983-1984) *Reinikainen* (1982-1983) (§ *Tankki täyteen* (1978-1980) (§ *Spede show* (1968-1987), Spede wrote & acted in _Uuno_ movies and many others *Finnish Nightmares* - A Different kind of social guide to Finland (2016) is a book consisting of intentionally awkward comic strips. §) Neil Hardwick, a British-born Finn, as (co-)writer and (co-)director.
This is probably only funny if you know a bit of German and watched 80s German detective series (which a lot of Finns did) 😅 This is a parody of those series, first in the series: th-cam.com/video/x9Ansf9z6bs/w-d-xo.htmlsi=k6jxDixKFgKlzdWB
Nothing beats Kummeli. Ihmisten puolue, too much talk, nothing much funny. Kummeli, one needs to take one look and be surprised by the smile on one's lips.
This show loses a lot of the jokes what they say when translation tries to be too polite. You would appreciate if the translation had tried to be more 100% accurate what they were talking between each other as a Brit you like nasty humor too =)

Yeah the subtitle guy was a bit lazy on this one :D
@@mikkolaine4883 Probably deemed it to be too difficult to translate :D
Would you add the explanation in the subtitles as well?
Siskonpeti - viinapäivä!
the automatic translation seems to be pretty good and the episode is very short so it´s quick for you to make and episode out of it too =)
On hyvä _D
Thanks for keeping doing these. These are short and small, but eitherways precious and fun to watch.
The characters in this little show are perfect. If you watch more you will find out each one of them has their own funny quirks.
Ihmisten puolue , its best series in Finland😄😄😄
Ihmisten puolue = People's Party
Ketonen & Myllyrinne - Poissaoloviesti
oh lord I had forgotten that show is this good
Tankki täyteen, writer/director is british
So we're not reacting to the goat of finnish comedy. Ketonen intersports
Ei mitään Stiigaa, vaan Everlaastia
mikä toi oli@@Jansk1h
Russia said we can't join NATO. What happened? 😅 Finn's usually really do on the contrary if someone try to force us.

See Pasila, animated series
