- We had such fun with our first discovery of this group, had to watch one more of their MV's before moving on to another. Hang out with us. One of our favorite things about his genre is there is so much to watch and listen to. Keeps us entertained and motivated to keep covering more. Most definitely will continue to listen to these boys.

I love how more people are finally starting to react to TXT!! They deserve recognition, honestly one of the most talented groups out there.

This song was about a puma that escaped from a zoo in South Korea , it only got to experience freedom for 4h before it was shot to death even tho it harmed no one (since at died you can notice how they say at the end "west side east side it don't matter anymore" as in the puma is already dying ) the song also mirrors their experience in the music industry and how everyone is hating on them and calling them privileged because they are bts's hobaes , it is about trying to find freedom and breaking out of the cage. In the dance you can see how animalistic and intense it is since they are representing the puma themselves and the choreography represents the lyrics and has a lot of hidden at time which is a reoccurring theme throughout all of their songs
J uwu Thanks for that in depth explanation 🙏🏼🥰. One thing we appreciate about this genre. It’s much deeper than the surface. A lot of it is darker subjects hidden behind happy music and bright colors, etc. So I can definitely see that. Believe that is also another reason we gravitated towards and appreciating this genre more. Most don’t see beyond our dark lipstick and clothes, think it’s depressing. Couldn’t be further from truth, we are happy and embracing darker things aids in expelling them. Deep thinkers are very much appreciated by us. 🖤

Glad you’re liking TXT. The comeback with PUMA, Eternally, and Can’t You See Me is their darkest yet. They’ve gradually been losing that bright, cute, and innocent concept they started off with as the music videos become darker and darker. This transition fits their storyline incredibly well and I’m looking forward to what they have next.
Ah, and we’re in the 4th generation now. It started in 2018 with ATEEZ, Stray Kids, Itzy, TXT, Everglow, etc.

ChoiSomnia Blackrose Yas! I thought so (Bri) I’ve been studying hard and listening to more groups so I’ve caught a lot. Thought we were in 4th Gen. I just love how extensive this genre is. It’s sooo much more than “pop” it’s same with “Goth” from rock, metal, synth, industrial, folk, cyber, classical, etc. etc. Now it’s just become more “trendy” but I used to get thrown out of stores for my “attire” 🤣 Now it’s almost worshipped. It’s a bizarre world sometimes and topsy turvy. If taught me anything is to see beyond what most would overlook and appreciate. 🖤
they aren't losing the bright concept, they just shifted to dark, and will shift to bright again, depending on the overall story it is telling :)
Лера Гурина Yup. Dark concepts can be innocent with sinister undertones. As long as it alludes to something evil or tragic, it’s a dark concept.
ChoiSomnia Blackrose first impressions on this seems to revolve around emotion and growth through deep trials. We came into this in chapter 3 so still have 2 more to view. I’m curious to see how this all ties together. What I find most impressive is this level of depth already in the beginning of their careers. Already trying varying concepts, sounds, storylines. That’s rare in new artists. Usually have to have traveled the road a bit to figure out their sound. Or let evolve organically, which can take years. Especially here in states, some artists barely produce an album a year. Another aspect of Kpop I’m beyond appreciative of, some put out multiple albums and ep’s a year. They work so hard. Seems like that’s another reason why fandoms are so supportive & protective of their groups because they work tirelessly to create such works of art. Deservedly so to in our opinion. Hope that made sense lol ☺️
If you’re looking to figure out the storyline, then I’d suggest Nap of a Star. But if you just want something to jam out to, then try Angel or Devil. The members are all quite young though, so they don’t really have sexy concepts, but their music is definitely enjoyable.
