"Eternally" MV is the third installment in TXT's ongoing storyline universe, with hidden symbolism and meaning. The first was "Nap of A Star" MV (from their debut album "The Dream Chapter: Star") and followed by "Magic Island" MV from their first comeback album "The Dream Chapter: Magic"). These storyline MVs are marked with the TU or +U logo at the end of a video. "Eternally" is from their latest album "The Dream Chapter: Eternity". These albums form the Dream Chapter trilogy series and "Eternally" was the last ending track of both the album and trilogy. That song really shifts between the slow ballad and the dark rap; about nightmares and dreams. Their title track MV songs ("Crown", "Run Away", and "Can't You See Me?" in that order) are related to the storyline, too.
TXT (Tomorrow by Together) are a group of 5 boys who "came together under one dream to build a new tomorrow". They debuted March 2019 with a bright, cute visual in "Crown" MV but the lyrics are darker. It's about experiencing growing pains, feeling alienated, and finding acceptance from someone who accepts you. Their sound slowly matured in "Run Away" in their first comeback about going on a magical journey with that new friend and escaping troubled life (with a magic theme and Harry Potter vibes) to a darker theme in "Can't You See Me?" about the falling out of your friendship.
one dream𖧵 cloddiehoppers This is amazing! Thank you. Kind of felt a bit lost with this one. Could see was apart of a story but was not sure where to start. We were hoping someone would give us a guide, definitely want to know more about these guys. 🥰
TXT has a universe (TU or +U) like BTS (BU). So all MV’s that focus on TXT’s story are a lot like short films like this one. This is the third TU certified MV if I’m not mistaken. The other two are “Nap of a Star” and “Magic Island” in that order. While these are the only MV’s that are “TU certified” by BigHit (it would say so at the very end of each video’s description) TXT’s MVs for their title tracks seem to have story elements as well. I suggest checking them out. You may not like their debut “CROWN” because it’s a cute/brighter concept, but you may like “Run Away” (the Korean title is translated to “Waiting for you at platform 9 and 3/4, so it has a Harry Potter theme). My guess is that you will like their latest comeback “Can’t You See Me?” the most though. I just came across your channel so I’m basing these recommendations purely on what I saw in this video. You seemed to like the darker stuff so “Can’t You See Me?” is a good one to watch. I guess the last thing I’ll point out is that “Eternally” doesn’t introduce the album, but rather ends it. The track really does alternate between the two moods like it does in the video. It came off of TXT’s newest album “The Dream Chapter: Eternity”. Sorry if I missed you saying it but just in case you didn’t know TXT stands for TOMORROW X TOGETHER with “X” meaning “by”.
I’m sorry that was so long and that I threw a lot of information at you, but people that are new to TXT usually miss out on these details. Maybe none of you really care about any of it but I just wanted to get it out there haha... I really loved the reaction! Can’t wait to see more!
Sam Lyman OMG thanks so much! Was hoping someone would give us more info. We love all types of music and was very impressed with TXT. Most definitely would check out more. It is hard starting a new group without a little guidance. Didn’t even know this was last and Magic Island popped up in recommendations. Love such artful concepts. So lighter, happier concepts are not a deterrent. Music is beautiful and art is beautiful, not just the darker stuff. @@babesbassbats3652 The great thing I found with TxT's storyline is that it goes from lighter to darker musically but lyrically it has always had dark themes straight from the beginning. If you want the storyline I would suggest going in the order Sam Lyman recommended, but if not they are all fantastic videos. Also, if you want artful and creative I would suggest checking out their MMA 2019 performance.
It's like their dreams/journey was just in a second. You can see the clock's arm was going back when the "earthquake" was happening, and it moved normally after it. But between that short period, they experienced those "nightmares". The bottle also look like it just fallen a second ago. Maybe we can say they feel it like it was just flashbacks? So they kept everything they saw by themselves. And Soobin (The one with purple hair) brought something from his "dream" which was dice. This can tell that they didn't dream, it wasn't nightmares, it was signs, and they did go to some other dimension. It's just my thoughts, maybe it makes sense? Hehe. Anyway, I love your smile >
Would love to go back and more get into them. Feel like we did not do them enough justice on our initial impressions. But they are on such another level, feel need to learn more and expand our knowledge to be able to keep up with on an intellectual level. So talented for being so young, impressive.
Even though its technically the latest part of a story, I feel like sometimes someone might need a strong introduction like in this mv and other later ones to build the intrigue to go back to their older discography and music videos, so I don't mind that you started with this. I really want to see your reactions to all their stuff, even the cute stuff if you're open to those concepts. Even in some of the cute early stuff they did, their lyrics were still very deep and actually sad at times.

So yeah when watching this the txt storyline is kinda like the Bts storyline this kind concept video is similar to Bts wings concept where all the members wher pulling apart from each other while I'm still getting into the +U(txt) universe I was a fan of the BU and their universe lead into 2 books so who knows what is the next part of txt' storyline
Thank you for sharing that. Eager to learn more about them. Since this was our earlier stuff, felt could do better so wanted to wait after exploring & learning more. Then hopefully do them justice because they are a talented group.
