I love Aldi! I shop for myself, cook 3 meals a day and spend about $50/week there with everything. The only thing I don't buy there is the chicken, I don't care for theirs so I go elsewhere. If you have a Lidl you must go!!! I don't have one but my brother does where he lives and I love that place too. Make sure to get their pastries with chocolate inside, so good!!
@@pinkeeluvr Hi! Happy to share what I make frequently. Smoothies in the morning with pb2 and frozen fruit, add chia and flax. Snacks are yogurt or cheese stick or turkey sticks. Lunch is seasoned pulled chicken or ground turkey or an egg omelette, apple on the side and sometimes cottage cheese. I'll make chicken thighs and green beans sometimes. Seasoning is everything. Dinner salmon burger patty from costco and veggies on the pan. I eat an avocado every dinner I can. I do a lot of lettuce wraps. Thai chicken, veggies, peanuts, pineapple, low calorie sauces. Lots of veggies and dip. Desserts are pudding or cool whip with jello or frozen banana coco powder smoothie. I stay away from pasta and bread except i'll eat a cheat meal on friday or saturday. I just feel better without. My digestive system feels better too. I love to make my own popcorn with lots of seasoning but sparingly. Diet cola drinks, sparingly. I have ditched alcohol and just drink kombucha that is low calories and sugar. I get everything at Aldi except the salmon and chicken. Aldi used to have salmon burger patties. Oh I get the aldi fish filets and eat 2 for dinner a lot. Seasoning and hot sauce. Hope that helps a little!
Thank you for such a straight forward, to the point video 😊. Found your channel ( subbed today 😃) by doing a search for "best foods at Aldi". Love you covered organic etc., as those are my go to foods. Thx!!
I went to ALDIs today and all the grass fed beef was sold out, they must have all watched your video early this morning! And there’s a new Lidl in Apex off Apex Peakway if you’re in the area. Great video as usual!
We buy pretty much exactly what you did! plus sometimes Aldi's organic chicken fillets when I run out of my Misfits Market pasture raised chicken breasts.
Rather than frozen veggies. Also a local farm to get a half cow or a cow in all different things like steak, ground beef. Just a thought. Up here in Alaska we do that and it saves so much money…
I tell myself all th time I’ll go to Aldi eventually to see what it’s like, but I never do… grass fed and finished ground beef at my local Kroger is almost double the price of what you saw at Aldi. I know there could be some difference based on where we live, but whoa. Anyone know how or why they’re much cheaper? Is the quality lower?
Aldi has by far the best grass fed ground beef and I just found some grass fed sirloin steaks at Walmart that I'm excited to try.. Incredibly inexpensive.
What’s wrong with their organic eggs? I’ve been buying them for a few years. I bought that same sourdough for the first time this week, but it doesn’t say non gmo like yours does. I usually buy Izzio’s sourdough, which I like much better, but figured I would try the Aldi one and save some $.
Wait, why were you a hater before? I love Aldi! My only complaint is they're not a one-stop shop. We still have to shop at Walmart or Kroger to fill the gaps.
Ours has pasture raised and cagefree organic/free-range. Once the pasture raised sells out though it can take a bit to get them back in stock I've noticed.
Does pineapple, eating it that much, hurt your mouth? The bromelain, thats not spelled right, is a meat tenderizer. It starts to hurt my mouth after a couple weeks straight.
If youre looking to save a few bucks, i know you hate it BUT getting some things in Costco are worth the trip for Honey, Olive Oil, stuff like that youd be set for awhile.
This guy is cooking on a seven thousand dollar stove and living in a million dollar house and he's eating mostly hamburger meat and saving $2 per pound on it. Come on. With his kind of money he should be shopping at Whole Foods. Except for the hamburger meat and the fruits. Aldi sucks. You can't buy good fish there, you can't buy good meat there, other than the grass fed and finished hamburger meat. If you shop at Aldi, you always have to go somewhere else. Aldi's claim to fame is that they have a couple of things that are cheaper than you can buy at other stores, that are ok, and then you have to go shop somewhere else for the rest. The grass-fed,grass finished hamburger meat is a lost leader for them. That's how they get people in the store.
Whats the meal plans for the week. Id love to know
Their pasture raised eggs are actually amazing and high quality!!!

What do you cook or meal prep? I’m trying to turn my health around but it’s been such a challenge when it comes to food

As a very new father, this gives me hope that the spiral I’ve gone into this first week is easily rectifiable. Cheers dude
You got this!
Amazing shopping for healthy foods and food prep ❤❤
They also have grass feeds beef for lower at sams I saw it
Looooooove Aldi! Legit the only place I’ve shopped for years! It used to be super ghetto back when I was in college but has def stepped up their game
What are you adding to the green beans?
Just salt
What are your favorite shorts to workout in?? Also, where do you get the extra large Tupperware?

what about dairy?
Pineapple always gives me a metallic taste unless I bake it. Highly recommend baking it with some cinnamon.
Their eggs are actually comparable to the black box vital life at a fraction of the price
Do you like the food storage containers? If so can you link them? Thanks!
Yup

Aldi has pasture raised eggs. Check next time you go 😊
Yes, they truly are the best.
They are building a brand new Aldi here in town and I absolutely cannot wait!
See many popping up!
Their coffee is amazing too. $5ish for 12oz of coffee grounds. I personally get the Sumatra Dark roast one.
I always go to aldi right when they open on Saturdays
Good thinking
You should try to find a farm local to get produce from! It may be more expensive but it’s supporting the locals which I know you love to do.

You make the meal prep look easy RH! Keep it up!
We are allergic to pineapple in our household but I know it’s yummy :/

Not any worse quality than Kroger. Not as high quality as some of the USA farmed options

After you cook the green beans, you just heat them up each day once more? Or eat them cold?
Heat!
@@BusinessAndFitness nice! I can def see where it’s a game changer on organic veggies and fruits!
Great video as always. I love Aldi, and the similar store Lidl.
Pasture raised eggs at ALDI are awesome.
There he goes again, feeding that cheese grass 😂. Love the video. Wish we had an Aldi here or even a Publix for that matter.
Wait, why were you a hater before? I love Aldi! My only complaint is they're not a one-stop shop. We still have to shop at Walmart or Kroger to fill the gaps.
Agreed
nice when you have a big fridge lol
Bummer cause my Aldi has pasture raised and they are amazing!!!
Aldi def have good deals. Nice video
Our aldis has cage free organic eggs for 4$ a dozen
Your little boy is so cute❤😊
It's too bad Aldi here only carries factory-farmed, low-quality eggs. It would be cool if they started to carry one of the Organic Free Range brands.
Maybe you could speak to the manager. Could be that there are others who would like to see that there too.
The eggs in Aldi here where we live are absolutely awful as well. We buy our eggs at Sam’s
Ours carries amazing pasture raised eggs. They also have an organic option.

First time watching you😊
Thanks for being here! Please subscribe !
Does pineapple, eating it that much, hurt your mouth? The bromelain, thats not spelled right, is a meat tenderizer. It starts to hurt my mouth after a couple weeks straight.

People sleep on Aldi. Best fresh fruit & salads. Affordable!
I like aldis 4 grain bread. Its similar to daves killer bread
love aldi!💙
If youre looking to save a few bucks, i know you hate it BUT getting some things in Costco are worth the trip for Honey, Olive Oil, stuff like that youd be set for awhile.
My nightmare 😂 but true
I'm just here to see how many times Trav can say organic
aldis has vital farms usually or other pasture raised brands depending on location
I love Aldi
ALDI has pasture raised eggs
Please clarify when you state “isn’t the best.” Thank you.
I’m at the point where I trust food from the US less then I do then if it comes from elsewhere
Depends where that "somewhere else" is. I'd trust a single US source over a multi origin source or from China
Aldi has the best organic brown eggs whatcha talking about 🤣jk
Those were the days now Aldi been so famous they raised their prices smh
Amazing is you hating Aldi and Costco
Laughs in German
Highest quality? is it tho lol never get produce from Aldi's it's gross
Watch the video and see for yourself 😆
I don't recall ever having any issues there.
