Yeah, the balloons is a Melodifestivalen thing, the audience always get that (for the last 20 years or so, I guess). It's just to create a festive mood in the arena, like a big party. Melodifestivalen is very much a family event, and something a lot of kids look forward to, almost like Christmas, and at a kid's party you would of course have balloons!
He was going to have a fire trick on stage when he was supposed to hold the fire that didn't work, so he put it in his pocket while walking forward and greeted the audience instead (threw a kiss)💋 so we have to hope that the fire trick works in the final🔥
