I own a 2023 Limited BRZ in gray with 46 miles and the moment that I test drove the car I experienced the same rattling underneath the steering wheel column. It's a nuisance, however still lovin my ride! I'll eventually have service diagnose it, but I know for sure it's a cosmetic rattle! Enjoy your ride!
widebody looks cool but stock body looks great as well. I'd prefer to keep it stock body. I bought the car keeping in mind how small it is making it easy to bark and maneuver in traffic. Also a widebody just adds more weight to the car
Thanks for sharing, I used to own a 2017 facelifted 86 and have been eyeing up on of these ever since so thanks for your perspective. I have driven a 2022 Skoda Octavia which has the same control system as the golf and I hate it, especially when very few of your custom settings like air recirculation / stop-start are always deactivated. The BRZ is much better than that.
@@TheDiskinsDoEverything had it 3 months before tangerine sized hail beat the crap out of it, got to 992 when i dropped it off at the shop =(. i thought 1000 miles was a long wait. damn shop is taking forever to fix it
This younger generation just straight up mimics whatever they see...dude, just relax and point to buttons/features normally, not like you went to some hand gesture school. Good video! Best of luck :)
My dad lives in Vegas so I am very familiar with those constructions but the worse are the big dips in 4 way intersections that you have to be careful that you don’t scrape your front bumpers
The car is supposed to be noisy. It's 31k and 2850 lbs. I see people complaining about the road noise and I just laugh. The BRZ is not a 100k Porsche. 😂
The RTV overapplication issue has nothing to do with the handful of people who have ruined an engine at the track. Your fellow YT '900BRZ' has documented an oil starvation issue on high G right hand turns over 6k RPM [th-cam.com/video/4Jk5WTWoqt4/w-d-xo.html] You can relax knowing the average BRZ/GR86 owner is never going to have a problem driving hard on the street.
Where do you place your phone during your drive? After daily driving for quite a bit, anything that you find annoying with the BRZ? I’m waiting for unit to be delivered by the dealer, and wanted to just be ready for the long term. Also, any comments as a passenger on a long drive?
I no longer have the brz, but from what I remember. On the left side of the vent, it would rattle quite a few times. I really loved that car on stock suspension over the HKS(even on the lowest and softest setting). If its just you with a quite of few things. You'll be fine when it comes to trips. My partner didn't like the space (5'5 is her height). Especially when her son was behind her. He didn't mind it but in dew times when he gets older, he'll grow out from that spot. Other than that, it's a beautiful fun car to have!
I have a BRZ and a younger brother of mine has an FRS, I’m considering getting the new GR86. My question is do you get that hood flutter at highway speeds that I’ve heard a couple of TH-camrs mention?
Which steering wheel did you get? Did you install it yourself or do you have somebody else do it? I’m scared to do it myself and I’m having a hell of a time finding shops that want to take the responsibility of doing it. I’m in Los Angeles.
I went for the FT-Speed facelift carbon fiber/leather, but it looks like they don't sell if from ftspeed anymore. You can go through 86speed as well. They have more options! Install wise, it was really easy. I actually made a video on how to do that so check it out!
Just don't be like the noob/lazy car owners who don't know how to check and change their oils. Then they abused it and can't maintain a simple car and blame on the car.
A lot of people are but i can take care of that part but also, many of us are waiting for the right oil pan baffle to be released due to the oil pressure dropping when turning right
About 7k miles in on mine, best car I ever driven, she puts out!
The exhaust sound is soooooo nice! I like it a lot. I think I am seriously considering switching to that for my GR86. Nice video! 👍
Thanks for stopping by!

I have to sometimes bang it like Shia LaBeouf does just for it to stop rattling when im just trying to enjoy the road noise

Nice one great vid, prefer the BRZ interior door handles to my GR black plastic ones.
I got 2022 brz limited and man oh man , she one of a kind that’s all I gotta say 🫡🍻

Nice car and nice video! Im really liking the styling of the new gr86
SME makes a really good 4-2-1 equal length header I'm looking at. Since yours is a subie the unequal makes sense
I'll continue to wait for MAPerformance but I'm also keeping an eye out incase another company releases a good one.
For sure JDL Auto makes a super quality header in a every configuration. The listing says gen 1 but you can select gen 2 once you’re on the listing.
Hell yea I'm about to install my maperformance exhaust on my 23 gr86
I just got a Brz a few days ago, can’t wait until I’m done breaking it in
You'll love it even more after

Those intersections suck when they sometimes don't have signs to give you a heads up especially in the middle of the night.

No joke, I had trouble placing a bottle of water behind my seat, so, now I use the spare tire compartment.
Lol. You hear it rattle when driving over a speed bump

awesome video bruh. not sure if there'll ever be a solution comes to fix that oil pressure & RTV issue.
just hope they'll figure it out sooner than expected
Having owned 3 Subaru vehicles, I can say from experience that it's not a Subaru if you don't have at least one annoying rattle.
The out of the box track product that dies on the track lol. Amazing street car tho, just don't fall for the track gimmick.
Sadly, that's the main reason why I bought it.....
@Ar1zonaGreenTea same with my coworker. He had plans to track it, but switched his plans to being a car-show car instead. It's an amazing street car.

If you do exhaust with a Subaru, you need a tune
Are there any negatives to resonate deletes or is it completely just affecting sound
Depending on the exhaust, some will have a raspy tone

Not from my end. Only one other guy that ive come across with an after market hood like the seibon FA style.
What up Vegas Fam.
ayyyy!
Time to replace those bezels with the JDM ones !
If the passenger approve then its ok
As long as there's no one behind them. If there is, their knees will touch the glove box or be close to it.

Can't say much about the 2 series but it does look heavy

That's just letting you know that the oil is cold. So once it's at its proper temperature to be running it, it'll come off.
