Hope your Thanksgiving feast yesterday was a smashing success, Chris!
It came out well I think!
As a hockey fan, I was delighted about how this theme turned out
I set my PB for Sunday puzzles with this one - 15:28. At times I just couldn't put the answers down fast enough, the clues were coming to me that quickly. You know a theme is good when they break out the animation.
You're crushing all this sports stuff today. Indeed to "ride the pine" means to not be put in a baseball game.
7:30 Zamboni is a brand name, named after the inventor of the machine. (It’s become a word like Xerox or Kleenex where the brand name is used generically.) A Zamboni picks up ice shavings and snow, then puts down a new layer of hot water that fills in skate blade marks before freezing and resurfaces the ice.
I didn't know what a zamboni was, hahaha.. just sorta srrived at it but your explanation helped
Silage is a word I used lots of times a day in the past .
The Green Acres Gabor sister was Eva. The third sister was Magda, also a socialite and actor though she wasn't in much and probably her main role was appearing on tv in The Eva Gabor Show!
WWE used to be called WWF until a legal tussle with the World Wildlife Fund forced them to, as they put it, "Get The F Out".
It’s Green Acres, not Green Gables.
@@stephengiblin4684 oops, got caught up in the alliteration! Thanks, have edited.
