My all time favorite 500g cake is brothers shotgun wedding 36 shot 6 at a time very similar to hydrogen bomb. Then AAH fireworks red thunder and blue thunder both 2" 9 shot.

Definitely, dude, definitely! I also liked Corruption, Blizzard Warning, and Hit The Road, Jack. Sexy rider, though, was a huge disappointment, at least in my book. You see a gorgeous woman on the package, with legs that go the proverbial mile, nice buttcheeks, a great looking frame, smile, and hair, and man, you're really expecting some real fireworks, as if you're gonna make love to her, and have the best set of orgasms in your life....annnd this happens. What a dud-ridden set of fireworks! Angry Leprechaun was better than Sexy Rider. In fact...they all were! Sexy Rider must need some sleep, or something. The Godfather series of Fireworks was the best, and longest. That's the pack that'll REALLY give ya yer money's worth!!!💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥!!!!!!!!

Corruption by TNT was my favorite, loved the chaoticness of Power Surge too.
My finale this year will be consisting of a case of High Fallutin, a case of Hit the road jack, two 36 shot racks of Hellcat cans and a rack of 4-210 shot roman candles. I have stashed away two pallets of fireworks for this year and have no less than 150 feet of fuse to energize them, im looking at no less than 3 hour fusing time.
So far Fist Bump is amazing!

The Godfather Display and the Three Pronged Attack were my favs. I always buy 2 of the Three Pronged Attack and add a 200 gram cake or some Re-loadable Mortars (Excalibers, Lock & Loads and Horror Shells) as each is going off (Helps having a Cobra Remote Firing System). Save those Excaliber Mortars, they are built super sturdy and last a long time. Just be sure to clear the carbon build-up in the tubes (use a bristled bottle brush) after each show so nothing gets stuck or doesn't hit the bottom of the mortar when loading. You don't want one of those going off at 6-10ft in the air. LOL.. Cheers fellow Pyros!! :)

@Donnie Brasco look into black cat, foa, tnt, phantom. To me those are the rip offs. I was a wholesale manager for 18 years. I just retired. Those are the brands I steer clear of!

If you tie high faultin and hit the road jack it is a decent combo that is known as High Jack
Then do fist bump and sexy rider at the same time it would be high jack sexy bump. That would be kick ass finale

Phantom brand usually is not very good but you need to see "The Fat One" ...it deserves to be on this list
Overrated and overpriced.
Personally alot of other cakes would be my top 15,like gorilla warfare,fighting rooster,one bad axe,Latin scene,theres just so many others that certainly should've been considered over all these cakes except for the top 2.Just my opinion but thank you for taking the time to post this video
My favorite is a 4 box kit from Red Apple Fireworks. Get the Big Bomb Box. The cakes can be lite individually for length and fused together for an insane finalé. The 5inch canisters shells from Panda had awesome effects some seen rarely together. Red Apple, my new fireworks store especially that they deliver right to your door!! Get together with a neighbor and split the cost for an outrageous 4th or NYE! The neighbors stopped their fireworks to watch mine, that how high quality Red Apple fireworks are!!

Problem is these cakes are a a total rip off, 10 shots for 200 dollars, what a waste of money, you could wholesale Excalibur canisters and get 120 shells for that price, they are only slightly smaller effects 🤦

there are a couple i used to get every year about 20-25 years ago that i would put at the top....Major Havoc & Pandemonium. I dont think they are made anymore. maybe some old timers remember..?

Wacky Tobacky is a NOAB (Nine On A Board), so I don't really think it qualifies as a "cake", per se, but still, Brothers RULES! lol

Great fireworks
The Godfather is not a 500gm cake...its multiple display cakes fused together. Furthermore, it only seems available for purchase in the UK
Its a compound cake, which is a type of firework specifically designed to exploit a loophole in the UK's firework laws which recently banned really big cakes.
Shotgun wedding is my favorite to light with Hydrogen Bomb. Very similar 6 shot volleys. Backyard King was badasss too

Godfather Display is superb. I went to 6 different large fireworks stores in Wyoming on my way up to Montana today (July 1, 2019). Not one of the stores carried this particular zipper 3 cake Brothers item. Instead, a couple of them directed me to a big Black Cat assortment called "The Godfather" that retails for $599-$699! Still hoping to find the Brothers one in Montana tomorrow on my way to Livingston. By the way, I'm surprised the Black Cat Iron Dome System didn't make this list - to me the best out there until I can find the true Brothers Godfather. Happy 4th to all!
Paradox is our in house Hale Fireworks Brand!! It was made to be just like Hit the Road Jack from Brothers.

Great idea to show Angry Leprechaun with a Picture in Picture that shows the high break on the big screen and the low and mid breaks for the smaller screen. It really helps to show all the cake does!! Not something I see in the video's I watch and I watch a ton of video's to help with choosing what to buy for my yearly shopping spree. :)

Brothers makes the best 500g cakes by far. I'm surprised there weren't more of them on the list. Phantom does not make their own fireworks. They pay to have their labels wrapped on other manufacturers fireworks. I would be curious as to what the "Three Pronged Attack" is called under the original manufacturer... I have not seen Hit The Road Jack before. VERY cool cake! Thanks.

UPDATE: Second watch through 6/25/19: I was all set to say the Corruption by TNT was a boring cake, but it got much better toward the end. Massive Brocade by BIG was, well, MASSIVE, lol. That Brothers Godfather Display Kit really was insane, I mean how many total shots are in that beast?
FINALLY!!!!! Someone other than me who feels the same way that I do about The Godfather series! (As I text this, in my mind, I can still hear that Iconic line from the movie of that same name, The Godfather:"Let me make you an offer that you can't refuse"). A classic movie, indeed, and now, a classic set of fireworks that match the namesake movie that is now one of the all-time movies ever!

TNT has surprised me recently. They just allowed fireworks in my state and TNT has artillery shells which are pretty good for $20. I might just have to get Corruption now.

Watched the whole video, sadly not many are available to me but I’ve been doing this for a minute so I knew what I was grabbing, I agree not a huge sexy rider fan it wasn’t terrible but I like a bamboozle. Just spent a ton of cash on fireworks. Really liked corruption. And Big fireworks makes good stuff usually, 1/2 my cakes are big cakes. I also grabbed 60 5 inch shells (gonna fuse em up) hyped!!

Yeah I only spent 900 and I have like 18 cakes but I bought a bunch of smaller cakes and a lot of 5” shells also 12 3” shells. Plus some double and triple break balls.

Yo... Shredder by flashing fireworks... used two of these in my show and holy hell this cake hits you like a brick. Starts off slow and then rapid fires.
15 was good, would be better if it had more color. But as you mentioned the pace was very good

Walloping Woverine has been one of my favorites for years. They're loud with a perfect round big break. I never see anyone mention that one but I do believe they stop making it.
