First, these size cakes are definitely the sweet spot for a backyard display in my opinion. Yes, you get a bigger burst with the larger cakes but you’re usually so close to them that a good portion of such displays are out of your field of view. Then, there’s the huge factor of these being much cheaper than the bigger loads.
With regard to controversial choices, favorite fireworks are a lot like favorite music, it’s all a matter of taste. There is no right, or wrong, choice. I like a lot of action and an extended display. So, more tubes usually equals best firework to me. Last, thanks for the videos.

Wildcard is a must for last year and was super surprised. This year got some again and told workers how good it was and they didn’t even no. Hidden gem for price.

My favorite of that batch was Neon Demon. Big breaks, crackling variety, whistles, strobes and a decent duration. Too much good stuff.

FYI fireworks here are fairly expensive compared to yours but I still got some great deals for my area.

Jampacked 20 shot (I think) i got it for like $15-20 i cant quite remember but its more of a 350 grammer than a 20 grammer. This one was probably the 2nd biggest breaking cake we had, they breaks are a little low but they have a nice whistle to these insanly big breaks for how many shots it has and it rains down debris hard after lighting it!
Stop N Go 13.33 25 shot (3 for 40 deal for me)
Magnificant Festival 25 shot (3 for 40 deal for me)
Strobing Willows 25 shot I think 15-20ish range but worth it gets the crowd going crazy
Gold Brocade Bash 20 bucks for me but it hits like a salute and gigantic breaks! (another 350ish grammer)

Idk about the size of the cake I’m mentioning but I love shotgun wedding everytime we go to PA as I live in NY the first thing we look for is shotgun wedding cake. Just noticed the price of these cakes shotgun wedding might be bigger because it’s usually around $50

My favorite 200 gram cake is actually a 200 gram assortment from liberty bell called Betsys best its 151 for 15 cakes but i dont think moat people can get liberty bell stuff its kellners fireworks brand from western pa. So a cake most people can get would be poker face i guess. Dont really have a single 200 gram cake I get every year

Try metal gear ball shells by megaton they rock. They come in mixed case which is whistling, crackling, and colored or you can get just whistling, just color, or just crackle. You can find these at discount stateline fireworks in middlebury indiana
