There was a thing called the "knowledge homebase." It was essentially a wiki that was on the runeascape website. It had a huge amount of information and it was organized far better than tip it and runehq. However with the rise of the fan wiki system, that soon took over. I used the knowledge homebase a lot but it seemed that noone else knew about it and eventually it was removed. The current osrs wiki actually resembles it quite a bit. For me that has to be the single most important thing to be removed from the game.
Given that demo progress was saved clientside rather than server side, couldn't players hack into the save file and inflate their progress artificially before upgrading?

As of today, I have an odd feeling that if OSRS was ported to HTML5, it'd be much more playable than the RS3 HTML5 beta.

Even showed me different dates between rs3 and osrs. showed last logged in 54 days on os and 36 days on rs3. Which for that account was very accurate. Of course it made me log out of OsRs before signing into RS3 which is why i was surprised to see a different number.
You should make a video on things to do/get when you are member now, but no longer will be in the near future and the other way around. Things like collecting items or getting certain skills or collecting resources for fletching or herblore before getting membership. And yes, this is me in a couple of months.
Gonna have to add the gnome stronghold slayer cave to the list. I honestly can't believe people actually complained about the cave being too convenient.
they didn't remove the beastiary, the version of it on the website was a beta; the beastiary is currently an ingame feature which is how it was originally intended, you can open it up on rs3 to find details on most slayer monsters and all bosses.
+Colonello I know it doesn't show the ip address anymore, but I'm pretty sure the game does still tell you how long it's been since you last logged in. I remember a couple of months ago logging in and being surprised to see that it'd been a whole week since I had last played.
man i remember miniclip... that's how i found out about runescape but i was only 7 or 8 and our computer was so crappy that it never got past the loading screen and the one time it did, i had no clue what to do
i suggested the Dragon short sword in the runelabs. My guess jagex saw it and added it to old school RS. feels like i didnt get any credit for the suggestion.

Steven I miss Fist of Guthix it was such a fun mini game. That and Stealing Creations though some would disagree and would say they prefer the Wilderness where you run the risk of being PK'd
Lumbridge Woods. i miss walking this area.. Jagex knda brought it back where the creator is. Its still missing alot of trees, jagex still use the area for holiday events.
I also really enjoyed that area. Was very sad when Jagex did decide to just put a massive crater instead. Maybe one day they'll bring the full thing back. :)
with the beastiary i found a glitch with updated women bank npc's there a seam where they added more backside to the old school narrow britsh bootie that u wont see unless you relly look for it on the grey uniforms it might still be there
Almost all of these really just sound like lack of problem solving from Jagex. Instead of tackling the problems, they just remove the feature entirely.

Last Logged In is still in RS Classic, including the IP you last logged in with. So if you are an account able to access classic, this is bad news for you.

It was right before my first(and only) true rage quit in Runescape where I got so pissed that I literally changed my level 60's account password to random gibberish and stopped playing from April 2008 to September 2013 LOL

Ik people hate on it, but they could’ve nerfed it or even have it set to where you couldn’t use it in certain situations to keep it fair for like PK or someshit. Why did Jagex remove old combat and replace with new when they know that the votes FOR eoc went even with the against votes? Costed half of the Runescape community. 07 only brought back about 1/4 - 1/3 of the majority that quit. Disappointing.
There was a fairly good reasoning but then again they could've gotten around it in other ways than completely making a new system. At least now OS exists for those that prefer the old combat. :)
If Jagex removed all their dead content the game would be considerately smaller. Although it's not used much it's still a cool part of the game's history. :)
Gnomecopter was removed because there were so many bugs involving them, especially an invincibility bug which was exploited heavily and was innate to the copter itself.

Power To The Players does exist but there is no "official" way to suggest updates to Jagex anymore. :)
