That is one beautiful Viewlix! And brand new too, oh man I bet it smelled amazing, like a new car or something lol. I don't think I'll ever unbox a new arcade cab myself, but I'll keep dreaming.. for now tho, my fightsticks will do just fine!
Damn that 1080P monitor looks great! Awesome video man. Keep them coming! Not too many people uploading quality videos about arcades and specifically candy cabs.
Great item your new diamond Black! I like the idea of having two HD cabs in a game room :-) Would you be so nice to scan and share the manual of your vewlix diamond? It would be really helpful to augment the info about vewlix cabs :-)
+Arcade Video Games Thanks! To be honest the instructions manual is almost identical to the one of other Vewlix cabinets apart from some subtle differences. I'll see if I can get a PDF from Taito. Stay tuned!
Subtle differences are interesting :-) Thank you for trying to ge the pdf! BTW, you should consider to tate it and give Crimzon Clover a try. Is a great game!
I've always wanted to buy a brand new cab. Glad to hear they still make new Vewlix cabs. I wonder how hard it'd be to get one delivered to California... It'd take me a hell of a long time to save up for one but man it'd be worth it for a brand spanking new one.
Would be great to see a tour of how you set up the new Vewlix for controlling your consoles (assuming Brook Universal?). Would also be great seeing it run SFV! I'm looking at importing a Vewlix myself and setting it up for SFV, so would be nice to see your's setup for it :)
12:36 it reads 999817 so the functioning of the coin slot can be checked once it's installed at the arcade so it's then easy to start accurately from 000000 when it starts operation.
you said unit was $4000 how does this compare to the chewlix(chinese viewlix) thats like an eighth of the price? Im interested in getting one, so im just curious why i would get this version when it looks similar to the 500 dollar one from china?
+Payam Pajoohi Good question! I have played Chewlixes here in Japan and the main issue that I have with them is that the control panel is super flimsy when playing. You get that creaky noise, you know, like when you sit on an old chair. The authentic Vewlix doesn't have that issue. For me it's just a quality thing. It's like buying a Louis Vuitton wallet. Some people are willing to get the original for the quality while others are happy with the knockoff version. Hope this helps.
Awesome video (and cabinets). Very jealous! Have you tried the Vewlix in tate mode yet (monitor turned on its side for vertical shooters, etc)? Wondering how much of a pain it is whenever you want to play a game in that orientation.
+coderkind Thanks! I just checked the instruction manual and it looks like a pain. You need at least two people to do it. It's not something you'll be doing every time you feel like playing a shooter. I guess there's the reason for me to get a third cabinet.
+Jermaine Davis That's right! All I have to do is switch the HDMI, optical sound cable and USB for the controls. The transition between consoles and cabs is pretty much hassle-free compared to the setup I had before.
How’s this machine still running ? Also how did you connect the systems to both systems ? HDMI switch? A “how to” and what the brook board and connections video would of been great. But I know time since has passed. Why are these things so hard to get ?
Terry Bogard these things are hard to find .. where can one splurge on ones credit card 😬 Where’s the pc at in the video ? I didn’t see it or a boot up ? Oh I see the boards. What state are you in ?
+moomert1 For now, I'm in love with the Vewlix so I might seem a little biased but there are so many factors that can affect your choice. There are a lot of Chewlixes (Chinese Vewlixes) circulating, meaning that there is a big chance that you get a fake Vewlix unless you really know what you're doing. Lindberghs are much cheaper and it's much easier to get parts for them. However there is no 1080p monitor version unlike the Vewlix Diamond. Maybe I should make a pros and cons video...
+moomert1 Ask for a pic of the serial number sticker. Every cab has one. Even my Lindbergh still has it's sticker and that cab is 11 years old. If they say it's gone, then there's a big chance it's a fake. Look for the name Vewlix and Taito on the control panel and the plastic window below the marquee. Ask for what type of Vewlix it is (Vewlix F, L Diamond, etc...). Alibaba is riddled with fakes, check out the link. m.alibaba.com/product/60418847794/Arcade-cabinet-taito-vewlix-l-cabinet.html?spm=a2706.7843667.1998817009.15.u0drCL#module-big-image I'd say that cheap Vewlixes are a huge red flag. In Japan second hand Vewlixes go for about $1,800 without shipping. I bet it'll be more in the US. In the end if it's a little too pricey to get a real one why not just get a Chewlix and mod it to the max? Upgrade the sound board, screen, etc... It could result in a fun long term project!
If u can afford a real vewlix do it. They are visually beautiful and solid as a rock. Lindies are solid to but not as pretty. I've played both in Japan. Vewlix will not outdate as fast.
I'm planning to get a Vewlix L but i'm not sure where is the best place to get an original authentic set. Do you have any recommendations? There's so many selling at alibaba, where did you get yours from? Btw your's looks really dope :)
BTW since u have that cabinet now... Do u also plan to install Nesica card reader too in that Vewlix cabinet? Or just leave it be as because u use PS3/PS4 to the Vewlix? BTW, is the Vewlix cabinet controller also compatible with PS4 too?
+ExRetsuya Great questions. I think that for the moment I'm going to focus on playing PS3 and PS4 games. I guess in a year or so I'll make the jump to arcade hardware such as Nesica card reader just for the fun of it. The Vewlix controls are not compatible with the PS4. I'm using a Brook Universal Board to play the console games with the arcade cabinet.
I'll wait for the card reader as because I'm having all the Arcade IC cards like Nesica & Banapassport. But if u want something different & unique from Vewlix, interested to try install Banapassport/Aime reader instead?
Man.... That is so awesome. I my self have a Sega Astro City 2. A Candy Neo 29 and a Candy Neo 4 slot. I also have a 6 slot Neo Geo Big Red and a Atari Showcase 33. I am jealous my friend.
Ok I will do. Terry you should join arcade-projects.com it is a great forum I have learn a great deal of info about my Vewlix Cabinets and other arcade cabinets and games the community is very intelligent and helpful . P.S The Community doesn't treat people like idiots.
Hi, can you tell me the exact color code of your side panel ? I would love to repaint mine in the same dark grey as yours. May be it's written in the user manual ? I tried to contact taito.co.jp to buy those but they didn't respond :(
Although I”m not selling ny CP, there is a shop in Japan that exports a panel that could fit the Vewlix. Check the link out: www.tops-game.jp/products/detail.php?product_id=2624

+Jesus Landa I was shocked the first time I played SFV on the Vewlix. The colors and the sharpness.... I'll upload another video this week!
Nice vewlix!!!! Congratulations!! Is the first vewlix diamond black that I can see!!
+PRNeo80 Thanks man! This is the latest model that Taito has to offer.
Great item your new diamond Black! I like the idea of having two HD cabs in a game room :-)

+Arcade Video Games I just checked out a video of that game and it looks awesome. I think I should get another cab that has a vertical monitor!
Terry Bogard can't you rotate the monitor in the diamonds?
Yes you can! 🙃
I've always wanted to buy a brand new cab. Glad to hear they still make new Vewlix cabs. I wonder how hard it'd be to get one delivered to California... It'd take me a hell of a long time to save up for one but man it'd be worth it for a brand spanking new one.
Agree! The dream is alive!
Alibaba.com
It almost make me cry. This is what arcade would look like here today if the industry did not go belly up.
any chance you can link where you bought this from? i'd love to at some point buy my own.
That's a clean looking unit man!
Thanks!
Great video! Subscribed and looking forward to more!
+Sabih Anwar Thanks a lot! If you have any requests please tell me.
Would be great to see a tour of how you set up the new Vewlix for controlling your consoles (assuming Brook Universal?). Would also be great seeing it run SFV! I'm looking at importing a Vewlix myself and setting it up for SFV, so would be nice to see your's setup for it :)

+Sabih Anwar I just uploaded the setup vid!

Thank you for your insight
did you happen to order an extra panel for two player? If it were me, I would definitely have done that at the time of purchase.
I did purchase one after. I live in Japan so shipping is free most of the time.
wait...how did you set it up that either cab can play either console??? I'm so confused.
Yo that vew lix is awesome. Where did you get it from? and do you think they would ship to the uk?
+UnluckyLads Thanks! Here's your best bet: www.rs2006.co.jp
Very very cool man plus I subscribed great work
+Arcade Obsessed Thanks for the kind words! Another video coming this week!
I’ve seen a diamond orange, what’s the diff in models or makes ?
Could you post the link to the "Tops" place you mention who sell the stools please? A Google search isn't providing me with the link.
Thanks once again :)
The 32" looks clearer than the 42", is it due to a rougher screen on the 42"?
Round k
Where can I get a cab like that?
This looks pretty good.Nice video bro
+Coolkidz1413 ありがとう!

Haha! Well, I'm glad my question gave you a good enough excuse! Thanks for the info.
+coderkind No problem!
I think for your third unit, you should make your own fully customizable mame unit.
that's so dope man, when talked about playing on either cab.Are you switching the hdmi and usb/controller
+Jermaine Davis That's right! All I have to do is switch the HDMI, optical sound cable and USB for the controls. The transition between consoles and cabs is pretty much hassle-free compared to the setup I had before.
do the monitors connect to the source directly via HDMI?
How’s this machine still running ?
Also how did you connect the systems to both systems ? HDMI switch? A “how to” and what the brook board and connections video would of been great. But I know time since has passed.
Why are these things so hard to get ?
That’s right. It’s a cab, a console and a PCs for the controls. I’ll make a video about it soon.
I don’t use an HDMI switch. I just unplug and replug. 😂
Terry Bogard these things are hard to find .. where can one splurge on ones credit card 😬
Where’s the pc at in the video ? I didn’t see it or a boot up ? Oh I see the boards. What state are you in ?
how is the panel lit because I see no system to do it
Love the vids, hope you put more up with the Dia Black! Where did you get those rubber stops that go under the arcade feet??
Thanks! I got those at a Japanese hardware store. I’ll put up more vids soon!
which can do you like better. I have an opportunity to possibly get a vewlix or a Sega Lindberg cab.
+moomert1 For now, I'm in love with the Vewlix so I might seem a little biased but there are so many factors that can affect your choice. Terry Bogard so what should I look out for if I'm searching for a vewlix? I would hate to buy one then find out its fake

If u can afford a real vewlix do it. They are visually beautiful and solid as a rock. Lindies are solid to but not as pretty. I've played both in Japan. Vewlix will not outdate as fast.
Very nice setup!
Any chance that you could post the link to the company that you bought it from? I have been looking for this type of cabinet.
+Kenny O Unfortunately that company doesn't sell that kind of cab anymore. Your best bet is here: www.rs2006.co.jp
Is there something like an arcade cab but without the board/coin housing? So just so I can attach it to my PC.
This vewlix arcade machines are 110v or 220v?
where can i get those arcade stools?
Congratulations man!!
+Shao Kahn Thanks a lot Lord Shao Khan! Ret's go!!!!
Looks really nice
So, the cabinet has everything ready? You just need to install an arcade system in it?
+Hikaru Shindo Yeah, if you have an arcade board then it's just plug and play.
I'm planning to get a Vewlix L but i'm not sure where is the best place to get an original authentic set. Do you have any recommendations? There's so many selling at alibaba, where did you get yours from? Btw your's looks really dope :)
+Zypheril Thanks man! Your best bet on getting a cabinet direct from Japan is River Services.
Check out the website. www.rs2006.co.jp
Alright awesome! Thank you so much :) !
I've got a vewlix c the red one for only 1700$ used..but great condition
Do all 32" vewlix can come standard to one player instead of 2?
That’s right.
Where did you buy your Vewlix diamond black cab from?
BTW since u have that cabinet now...
Do u also plan to install Nesica card reader too in that Vewlix cabinet?
Or just leave it be as because u use PS3/PS4 to the Vewlix?

@terry bogard did u know the difference from vewlix diamond to your black diamond?
+Steven K. I'll make a vid soon about that!
thanks a lot! ps, the black diamond looks nice.
+Steven K. Your kind words remind me why I started this channel.
how much was it? Or was that covered in the video and I just missed it?
¥400,000 😱😱😱
Which one you like better? Teh Sega Lindbergh or Vewlix?
They both have strong points. The Vewlix has the best screen (1080p) but the Lindbergh has the strongest nostalgia feeling. I love them both!
@@terrybogard7505 how about the build quality? Lindbergh monitor easy to replace? Parts easy to find?
No, the Lindbergh screen is practically irreplaceable unless you’re willing to modify the cabinet in order to fit a different monitor.
Alibaba is a good place to search for potential monitors that can replace the old one. I’ve been lucky with the one I have.😃
Man.... That is so awesome. I my self have a Sega Astro City 2. A Candy Neo 29 and a Candy Neo 4 slot. I also have a 6 slot Neo Geo Big Red and a Atari Showcase 33. I am jealous my friend.
+luckydevil77 You have nothing to be jealous of, my friend, you own a whole Game Center!!!!!😂
Is the move list panel illuminated? Some Vewlix are, some aren't.
+coderkind This one isn't. However you can upgrade it with parts from Taito.
Hey man what was the store called where you got the stool from ‘Pops’ ?
What do you mean by “pops?” 🤔
Terry Bogard all good I worked it out Tops-Game
Cool. Sorry about the confusion.
www.tops-game.jp
I'm buying one at the end of this summer. I hope they can send it to Finland..
I have two Hori Vewlix Premium fightsticks but i want the real thing.
+tompparaideri Sounds good man! Hit me up when it arrives. I'm looking forward to your video about it!
HI does anybody know how wide the side of viewlix L is for getting through. doors cheers
Where did you got it?
Very nice bro just ordered mine
Is it easy to connect a PS4 or pc to a vewlix? Does it come with coin or card operation?
Mine is coin operated (no card accessory) and it’s very easy to connect to a PS4.
How di you plug the ps4 in
How much is the "VEWLIX DB?"
For me...PRICELESS!
I am interested in one I own a Vewlix F how much is it.
+Chris Wallace This one cost me around $4,000 brand new with shipping included.
Hi Terry are you able to due a lag test on the monitor.
+Chris Wallace Hey man, I don't want to sound dumb but how do you do that? Do you have any links of a website that can teach me how to do this?
Ok I will do. Terry you should join arcade-projects.com it is a great forum I have learn a great deal of info about my Vewlix Cabinets and other arcade cabinets and games the community is very intelligent and helpful . P.S The Community doesn't treat people like idiots.
+Chris Wallace Sounds good! I'll sign up!
Hi, which is the input lag this panel?
Hi, can you tell me the exact color code of your side panel ? I would love to repaint mine in the same dark grey as yours.
May be it's written in the user manual ?
I tried to contact taito.co.jp to buy those but they didn't respond :(
Haha, “I don’t give a fuck..” just got a like. KI is the only reason I bought an Xbox One, too.
Can you tell me who you purchased from?
+muell If you want to get a cabinet directly from Japan, I would recommend River Services. Check out the website.

Thanks
it's a beauty bruh, nice taste
Thanks man!🤠
awesome video!!!
How much was shipping on the vewlix
¥30,000.
@@terrybogard7505 that's not too bad
I live in Japan so it’s no that expensive.
@@terrybogard7505 ohhhh nice. I'm In New York so probably triple the shipping cost
Yeah. Check out Tops for Vewlix cabinets! They do international shipping too.
How can you afford these things?!
+Aaron Velez I just wait for bonus day!
Would you be interested in selling your 1 player cp? If not, know who I can contact to get the 1 player panel that came out for my vewlix orange?
Although I”m not selling ny CP, there is a shop in Japan that exports a panel that could fit the Vewlix. Check the link out:

Terry Bogard Same shop you got the stools at! Thanks bro!
