Hey Anthony. This video has been very helpful in clearing up some of the things before I purchase one myself as well. Just a question. How does one get around to adding in a console or a PC into the cabinet? Can we put the Pandora jamma board together with a PC if I desire? Thanks!
The easiest way (to know about how) to modify it with console or PC is not to use the JAMMA as controller source. We can use Brook's fighting board to connect the joystick and buttons with PS4. Then, plug the HDMI (if you purchased the original Vewlix, u might need an adaptor for HDMI converting to DVI). For the audio, u might need a HDMI audio and video splitter for letting the audio goes to the 4 speakers on the cabinet.
For the raised edge on the control deck if you look at the latching mechanism the two latch tabs have slotted holes, if you move them around you can tighten/loosen them. It isn't perfect by any means, especially since if you get it tight enough to keep it nice and flush it becomes impossible to lock.
+ZeroX252 Thanks! I was looking at it some more and saw those notches, I haven't had a chance to play around with them yet though. I'm hoping some of the stuff I went over in the video helped out anyone else who bought one of these. I really really like the cabinet so far.
Bought one of these a few years back when I returned from a trip from Japan. These are pretty sturdy built. I didn't encounter any of the problems this guy did. I bought mine and told them not to include any of the wiring, boards, screen, guts, etc.. and put in my own gear. For the screen I put in a HDTV because I believe by default these come with a 720p screen that connects via VGA or some nonsense. I didn't plan on using Jamma boards or anything and just use this with a PC and consoles like PS4 etc.
@@kenmyshey, I seriously contemplating getting the red vewlix clone off AliBaba. I really cant find any reviews on them. How's the quality of the cabinet and LCD? Also was the shilling process crazy?

I've not been able to compare directly to an original, but overall I'm incredibly happy with the clone. I use it pretty constantly now, even though I have 8 other cabs, it's my only HD cab haha. When you build one just know you'll have to come up with some sort of interface to hook the controls up to the computer. Evidently I'm pretty bad at replying to youtube comments. It was $800 for the cab, then around $200 per cab to ship.
