    Charles, another stellar review, and one I’ve been waiting for since this flashlight was announced. To have the review done by you is the best of all!
    Your format is excellent, and the consistency you utilize from one flashlight model to another makes it very easy to compare them. The fence line, the palm trees, the school and of course “The Tree of Life” being used in all of them makes me feel like I am really there. Awesome, man.
    This light will be coming my way after my next payday. It will be perfect on the farm.
    And I guess I will once again think, “this is the best light ever!” only to have a new model come along and prove me wrong down the line... but the end result is having a handful of really good flashlights in different places so one has one when they need it. The LR40R will absolutely make a big difference for me at night, and a great one to amaze my friends with once again.
    THANK YOU Charles!

    I just bought the version 2 of this flashlight. It has a sealed battery compartment and a brand new interface for the power switches. They mirrored the O Light mini marauder 2 with the interface. The version 2 is incredible. I love it. If you can get you kebab date in one to review you should. I guess you have a separate room in your house just to display all these flashlights. It’s a sickness. Keep up the good work!!

    I recently picked up the Wurkkos version, the TS32. I love the concept of two flashlights in one. Heat management is good as it will keep a steady 1200 lumen for nearly 3 hours. The UI is similar except Fenix does press & hold to turn off... a deal killer right there!

    On paper this outperforms by a mile the Olight X7R that I just bought on the Olight Elite sale but I'm glad to see this kind of competition. Olight will have to come out with the X7R II now. I love the combo flood/spot and the cell phone/GPS charging port feature, that makes a lot of sense for taking this light into the deep woods or desert.

    Mine came in today. Do both of your buttons feel the same when you press them? The one on the right seems mushier than the one on the left. Also, have you noticed any condensation on the lens when you run both turbo modes at the same time? My right button seems to not be as clicky as the left button and I've got condensation on the center of the lens when both modes are on turbo. After 5 minutes the condensation goes away. Thank you!

      That can happen if outdoor temp is low specially on the higher outputs. As for the button, I would use the flashlight for a bit longer to see if they balance out. Thanks for watching!

    I have this flashlight and it may not be a 60,000 or even 100,000 lm beast but it’s 12,000 lm output is more than enough and I wonder if it’s actually more than that because it lights up the park near me at night really really well... I can see the astonishment on other people’s faces when I “accidentally “ light them up as they are taking a night stroll. I have the ace beam 60,000 beast but it’s so damn big!! And yes, it’s a noticeable difference between 12,000 and 60,000 lumens but still..12,000 lumens is A LOT OF LIGHT. Besides I really like the fact that you can control the flood and the spot independently because I use it sometimes to walk my dogs at night and when I don’t want to shoot too much light out in the distance at homes I just flick off the spotlight and still have plenty of light with just the flood mode..then when I want to see if there is a stray dog or a stranger out in the distance coming near me I just throw on the spotlight and boom !!..I can see any damn thing far out coming at me. For me, someone who likes to walk their dogs at night in a neighborhood full of homes , this little monster works great. ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT

      The 100.000 lm drops after 5 minutes to 6.000 for 1 hour.This holds 12.000 for a full 45 minutes!!!!!!!It also holds 6.000 lm up to 2 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!There is no comparison.this is the best flashlight you can buy.If they make that central throw 2.000 or 1.500 instead of 1.000 lm you just have the best flashlight ever produced.

    Hey Charles, i always watch one of your reviews before buying a new torch 👍😂
    One question, i had a Feenix LR40R and loved it for going underground down old mines, but my friend lost his Fenix so i gave him my Feenix as a present and i decided to buy a new torch for myself. I bought the Acebeam x45 but hated the yellowish hotspot, so was thinking of buying the imalent DX80. Is it better than the LR40R?? Or should i just buy another Fenix?

    • @CharlesBridgTec
      @CharlesBridgTec  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@CharlesBridgTec my imalent DX80 arrived yesterday so i went down an abandoned mine to test it out. Wow, your right, its a Jesus light, i said exactly same thing 😂. I thought my Fenix LR40R was good for lighting up cathedral size chambers underground, but the imalent has an even further throw. Wasn't too keen in the Fenix for taking photos underground because its a yellowish light, but imalent is a perfect colour and no hotspot. I made video of trip underground in my TH-cam page, and everything is crisp and detailed, usually rocks would be a bit out of focus in distance, but not with imalent, everything crystal clear. I gad smile on my face. I kept it on 1500 lumens most the time, seems much brighter. What a torch 👍😂

    Both on the head and tail cap. Makes no sense. My LD75C is super comfortable to hold. Seems like the factory forgot to tumble the body segments after machining the LR40R. LR40R seems future proof, with flood and throw features + USB C and battery being able to discharge. In Australia, this costs roughly 350. I am happy to go up to $500, are there any others you would recommend around this range as an all-around flashlight? pls and thank you.
