    Ordered mine yesterday. I chose this light because of the versatility of the lumens, the flood beam, the power bank feature, Fenix quality, and all the other smart features such as the lumen display, run time based on battery percentage and lumen output. Great review. My light will deliver next week.

    Yep, many people can say that these flashlights are very expensive, which is true, and that there are other brands out there performing the same for half the price. The question is, is the building quality the same? Is as so reliable as this super machine? Yes, is a Fenix, and as other top brands, Olight, Nitecore, Surefire, Lumintop, they cost more, but they last 10 times more. So what flashlights are really expensive? I simply love this flashlight. As you say Charles in your so perfect and captivating review, this beam is amazing. The performance of this beauty is stunning!! I need to get one. Well done Charles and thanks for the video!

    Thanks Charles for your reviews. I really would like to see you doing some comparisons between flashlights in your "testing ground."
    You provide a lot of good information during your demonstrations, and your reactions to your experiences in your "testing ground" are quite humorous. :)
    A demonstration between the ThruNite Catapult V6, and the Fenix TK75 '2018 would be nice to see.
    A demonstration between the ThruNite Catapult V6, and the Fenix TK72R would be nice also.
    A demonstration between the ThruNite Catapult V6, and the Fenix TK47UE would be nice too.
    There is a lot of TH-cam rage over the ThruNite Catapult V6, and for good reason... it is a great "throw" light. However, I have never seen the ThruNite Catapult V6 compared against Fenix's top end flashlights in your particular "testing ground." Your "testing ground," Charles, would be ideal for comparing flashlights.
    There are a lot of great sight lines, and distance analysis objects all located within your nice "Wilderness" "testing ground."

    I actually always have to travel 7 miles to the place where I work and I driving on small field roads where there are a lot of rabbits. This flashlight would actually give me a better field of view than my current China flashlight with 480 lumens and no more emergency breaking because of some rabbit crossing the road : P

    Geese 1100 lumens even looks perfect for general use. Which I assume would be a long run time at this or even the 3000 or 40000 lumens with that humungous single battery. Great to see something that is not too hot on the head too. I love it.... If it runs 3-4 minutes at turbo before stepdown that is a great result and usable.

  • @MSM4U2POM
    @MSM4U2POM ปีที่แล้ว +1

    To the best of my knowledge, the TK72R is the only light on the market with stepped output regulation (as opposed to presets). This really does make it unique and supremely versatile. The lowest setting (100 lumens) makes it suitable for indoor use, and the highest (9,000 lumens) is so bright it's hard to imagine why you would actually need it. Within its limitations, there is no other flashlight like it. If Fenix do upgrade it, it would benefit from even lower output (maybe 20 lumens) for extra-long battery life, maybe an SOS beacon, and an improved holster; the current holster has no cover, so the head is not protected from the elements. But that's just nit-picking. Fenix weren't joking when they made this beast.

    Hi, I was wondering if there is a way to turn this light into a perfectly even flood beam? Do you think if you unscrew the bezels, that you can remove the reflector? Or, is there any other modification you can do? I am visually impaired and have been looking for a light to help me see. I just need it to be an even flood beam. Thanks so much.

    Hi there,
    I was wondering if you can possibly help me with finding a light. I'm in need of a very specific kind of light, and unfortunately, I'm not super well informed about lights.
    Requirements:
    1) Extremely bright (like 8000 lumens and up)
    2) A pure flood beam (A beam that doesn't have a hot spot in the center)
    3) Compact and can be carried on a belt (Something that has a head and body diameter similar to the TK72R)
    I currently own the TK72R, and the beam seems good enough for me. I do wishes it was slightly wider though. The battery life is a problem though. If only they made an extended battery handle.
    Thanks

    • @CharlesBridgTec
      @CharlesBridgTec  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Excellent size and output, but it's bad that it only has 24k candela. That's a lot of lumens that isn't useful at long distances..it would be nice to have about 60k candela, or a focusing head. Fenix did steal my idea about a switch to brighten and opposite switch to dim...I mentioned that to them 4 years ago

    • @CharlesBridgTec
      @CharlesBridgTec  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      zero to 60 in 6 seconds Yes but that 1000k lumens light is most likely with a deeper reflector which helps focuss the light increasing the intensity. This light with shallow reflectors. This is amazing light for flood purposes plus a lifetime warranty which what company do you know that does this? Thanks for watching and the support!

      Charles BridgTec my light is A TK61. It does have a large head and deep reflector. It's intended purpose is throw. The head on it is almost twice the size if my TK75! This being a new light will be a better seller than the Imalent DX80 because it has more features and quality is better. Don't get me wrong I have the DX80. I love it, but practical use is not very good but the lumens output is. Also Fenix has a lot les LEDs in it to, so you comparing it has no merit. Thanks for watching!

      You comparing two different beam types of these flashlights as their performance is ridiculous. As for money you get way more bells & whistles with the TK72R and life time warranty which is why it costs more. One is more of a thrower SP70 and one is a complete flood. As for a huge area the Fenix outshines the Sofirn SP70. The SP70 for distance. I want to take you seriously but its hard when you compared them in your reply. Thanks for watching!
