I am the original (and current) owner of a 73 240Z. I thank you for filming this Z at the SEMA show! Your main focus has been filming "Detroit Iron", so it was very nice that you decided to include this Z in your portfolio of cool cars!
Just one cool ass car no matter what you call it, it's a 280Z, enough said. I had the opportunity to drive a later 300Z from Texas to Ohio and back, wasn't like the early ones, but dam it was a fun trip. Exspecialy in the mountains. Thanks for showing this little rocket. Would love to drive this one. Great video Scottie, and cudo's to the builder. Thanks again.
Hi Scottie brother 😎👍. I agree with you, Cool car for sure 👌. The LS engine look like it was born in the engine compartment. Neat install. Not many of these cars is left, they most rusted away.
Oh yeah, I kept a video of a early 70’s Datsun and a father and his brother worked on it and made turned it into a convertible with a 327 Chevy motor inside of it. Talk about quick? Totally fast!
Actually Scotty it’s a Datsun, not a Nissan. They had two carburetors on the right side of the engine near the side wall of the fender. Hard to work on. The body underneath did rust out quickly and even today some men are dropping a 327 Chevy motor in them. The only thing I don’t like on this are the seats and the black mags on the tires. Other than that, it’s a sharp and beautiful car. On the name plate’s on the rear near the taillight’s, on the left side it says Datsun and on the right side it says Nissan. Nissan out bought Datsun. I drove a 280ZX. Fast.
Don't see many 240Z builds... this one is top notch! Thank you Scottie!
You're welcome...Cool build for sure!!
Something different, an excellent build.

I owned one of these little hotrods! I can't even imagine what it would run like with an LS1

Back in the 90's Tommy Howes built a 240 Z tube chassis race car, with a blown BBC. It broke into the 6's. Cool build.
Sounds cool...
I have always loved the 240z and with the v8 swaps being done they turned into one of the love to haves some day. Thank you sir
You're welcome Brother...I thought they were cool also!!
