Suffering from a TMJ migraine because of the severe tension in my jaw, neck and shoulders and I needed to ease the pain before I could even go to sleep. I turned this on, focused on the relaxing sound and breathed deeply. Now my migraine has eased into a dull ache. Oh, bless your soul for creating rain sounds so realistically and without a tinny quality or cracks of thunder. Thank you for this heavenly gem!
Have you tried acupuncture for the neck shoulder pain. It would maybe calm the nerve that is causing you pain. Even if it's the headache causing this issue try it out. I suffered a nerve injury many years ago, and it was stemming from the elbow to neck. I fell and dislocated my elbow and happy to say I have no more tightness achy pain there. It is an on-going treatment though. Every 2 months. Good luck.
