After contacting CJC I ordered 2. One for my 4th gen and one for my 3rd gen. The 4th gen has tons of play because of high mileage and noticed the rubber bushing in the shaft allowed the metal pin to hit both sides. All I can say is that this is not the end all to steering play. But it does help a bit. Definitely worth the $20!!!!
So you're aware some people are complaining about hearing a hiss when turning the wheel after install. That will be your hydroboost noise making it's way past the rubber bushing inside the steering shaft.
Update: after two weeks of the hissing noise and worse steering than before i put a new intermediate steering shaft in, truck drives the best it ever has now. If i rotate and balance my tires and chamge the front shocks its gonna ride like a Cadillac. Dont buy these just get a new shaft you wont regret the 300 bucks. 2015 Power Wagon

I installed those a few months ago on my o8 3500 ram, they work great! Cheap fix too!
Oh yeah 😎
Thank you. Just bought a 2015 Ram 2500 4x4. Going to order the bushing now.

@@isolateddieselperformance3261 I was not aware, how bad is the noise?
From what I've heard not bad at all but that depends on who's nerves it gets on
I installed these about a day ago and have noise in my cabin almost sounds like my steering pump. Its a 2019 ram2500
Same. 2020 3500. Next day booster pump hissing
I'm going to try and take them out....just don't know how yet
Same noise with mine
@Andrew Hanus I finally removed mine and it's back to normal these are the worst product
How did you remove them?
Very nice explanation and information(do you have a kit part number).
