My best-ever acting role was being murdered by Joe Mantegna and Sam Rockwell in the movie "Jerry & Tom" at the bus stop in front of the Laundromat 🙂 He's a lovely, generous actor, and a great guy! (I went by Jimmy King on I.M.D.B. back then, btw :)

Many good actors seem to share Mr. Mantegna's relatability and decency. It's as if they're finely attuned to humanity.

Stephen, I am very saddened by this interview. What warrants such disrespect by your esteemed broadcast to have Joe Mantegna as a guest and yet not once mention his fine recurring, not to mention both senstive and nuanced, portrayal of "Fat Tony" D'Amico.

One of my favorite B movies is Suspect. Aside from a great performance by a John Mahoney and Liam Neeson’s film debut, it features Joe Mantegna as the prosecutor. Cher seems a bit subdued in it, but all in all it’s well worth seeing.
