If you’re sensing a theme, we left Friday afterwork. It was a mistake and we got stuck in traffic. Thankfully sunset was just after 9pm, but bad news it meant driving directly into the sun when we started heading west. We arrived just after sunset and got the camp setup just after civil twilight ended.
This was our second time camping at Cape Lookout. Video for last year linked here: • Labor Day Weekend 2022...
Last year was rushed and a latter minute change. This year we did some research and ended up following the North Coast Food Trail (@TillamookcoastOR) northcoastfoodtrail.com/
Top 3: 1. Buttercup - amazing seafood soup, 2. de Garde Brewing - unique & tasty beers and outdoor seating, 3. Tillamook - touristy, yes, but cheese and ice cream.
