Wheew King. Looking fierce with that hair going all the way down 😏😏. Ya know what else should go down? A full hair care tutorial so we can look like you.
Something to note, the alternate strumming for the sections of the intro at 4 seconds in shouldn't be evenly strummed. There are pauses in there you can hear if you listen to the original song that follow a similar groove to what you play before it. God I wish I could pick like you can in this song though.
I’ve done everything except Departure (that solo is a bit wild and it’s one of songs I’ve never really paid attention to) but due to the songs having so many different guitar parts and layers the mixing is real bad in retrospect so I’m going to redo the majority of that album.
Awesome job dude! This song is no joke. One small detail: Corey exclusively uses alternate picking for the sixteenth note run in the solo, not economy picking. Super tough with the way the string changes occur for that lick.
Bro… you bodied this track for sure. This song is so damn tiresome and it definitely isn’t easy. You need to practically have robot picking capabilities to be able to play this track on point I feel. Kudos.
What a demon of a main riff, great playing
imagine singing while playing this brutal riff...😂
Easy with weeks of 3+ hours day practice and discipline. I’ve been playing since 12
@@metallicaguy123playing since 12, it’s 9:48 and you’re that good?
Ascendancy and shogun riffs are so good
I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR A GOOD COVER FOREVER OF THIS ONE AND THE GOAT DOES IT YOUR A GOD MY DOOOOD
I just realized I've been playing the pre-chorus and the chorus very wrong for almost 6 years.
Thank you, King!
Edit: listened to the original and he does add a bit of extra here, unless they play it differently now then they used to.
Damn near 20 years and I still love playing this monster of a song.
Daddy Curtis, great job as always! But I do think it’s time for you to do Torn Between plssss
It’s indeed time..

You can tell one guitar was mixed with way more mids and it is much louder and easier to hear
