Haji Ali Dargah is one of the most iconic landmarks in Mumbai, India. It is a mosque and tomb located on an islet off the coast of Worli in the southern part of Mumbai. The dargah is dedicated to the memory of Sayyed Peer Haji Ali Shah Bukhari, a wealthy merchant who renounced all his worldly possessions before embarking on a pilgrimage to Mecca.
Girgaon Chowpatty, often simply referred to as Chowpatty, is a popular beach located in the Girgaon area of Mumbai, India. It is situated along Marine Drive, a prominent promenade that stretches along the Arabian Sea coastline in South Mumbai. Girgaon Chowpatty is renowned for its lively atmosphere, scenic views, and vibrant street food culture.
How to reach :
If you're coming from the suburbs, you can take a train bound for Churchgate. From the town side, take a train heading towards Borivali. Once you're on board, take a slow train and alight at Mahalaxmi Station for Mahalaxmi Mandir and Haji Ali. From Mahalaxmi Station, you can easily find sharing cabs that charge around 20 Rs to reach your destination.For Girgaon Chowpatty, you can get off at Charni Road Station, which is just a 5-minute walk away from the beach.
