I hate this song with a passion, but this version is fire. The Hamilton reference is because their guest performer, Deejay Young, is in the touring cast of Hamilton & is the primary standby for Hamilton/Laurens/Phillip, Lafayette/Jefferson, & Mulligan/Madison. He's crazy talented.
Layne actually posted an audio engineered "helium" mini version of this song on his TikTok.
Voiceplay did this song years ago for Disney's Mickey Mouse Merry Christmas show. They had written in the tinkerbell reference, but Geoff didn't used to do the arabesque, that was new. Voiceplay is always able to pay homage to the original, but still make it classic Voiceplay.
We tend to think of Layne with the funny/silly arrangements, but this one was Geoff.

The Hamilton reference is an inside joke because DeeJay tours with Hamilton nationally.

I was a kid when this was first done. I was about six or seven when we got a LP (33 1/3 rpm) record with this. I was a curious child, so I played it at 16 rpm and discovered that it was just three ordinary guys singing it slowly. So I then knew that the recorded it at 16 rpm and had it played at 33...(This was back around 1960~...
I don’t think our turntable had a setting for 16 rpm, but I had fun listening to it at 45.

Reference to Hamillton of course, as DeeJay is appearing in the show. I think the reference to "a tweet from Musk would make me grin" was pretty on point too but maybe you missed it by pausing in the middle of that line.
Yeah, I noticed that too. That’s why most reactors I watch back up a few seconds before resuming after a pause.
I'm surprised no one has mentioned that the bridge you seemed to like (around 4:30) was written by Geoff.
