Been sewing since October and just loving it when I have the time. I'm pregnant with my third little. So trying to make a postpartum wardrobe I feel good in when that time comes. I want to make this dress in a longer length. I feel like this would be perfect for my ever changing body in my current season! Want to try the co-ord set next for a cozy postpartum outfit! Thank you for sharing! Having some free resources like this is incredible! Thanks for your time!
I don't normally comment on youtube videos but this time I had to! I am relatively new to sewing practising mostly on house items but I really wanted to get into sewing clothing but I felt totally overwhelmed with patterns etc. Ideally, I didn't want to follow patterns as they don't fit me and I didn't know how to alter them. I really thought my best option was to spend a fortune on a mannequin which I really didn't have the money for. This completely put me off sewing awhile unfortunately. I randomly found this channel and I'm so glad I did as everything you have made I absolutely adore. Everything is so well explained and I can easily work out which projects are in my current skill range. I am so so excited to get started on making clothes off this channel. Thank you so so much
The thing about hems that I find the hardest is that you sew them right side down on the machine and if my thread is going to grab funny and bunch up it's always the bobbin... and I do a really long edge only to find the whole under side (which is also the visible side of the garment) is a mess 🥲. Your hems always look so lovely
Thank you so much for this tutorial! The first dress I could actually wear! (the first "masterpiece" is somehow 3 sizes too big and made from such a stiff material it can almost stand on its own 😂) I had to make some alterations because somehow this one came out too big over my shoulders and kept falling down but with some made up alterations it totally works!
I loooove this dress! 😍 And I love how simple your tutorials makes it. I’m really happy that I’ve found your channel. I finished this dress yesterday and have now made 3 dresses in a month using your tutorials. Starting my next project tomorrow, the towel co-ord set 🥰
MADDIE this is amazing I’m going to give it a go with some nice olive linen. Loving all of your videos I found your channel so randomly looking to make simple dress projects. Huge hug ❤️❤️❤️😍
This turned out sooooo gorgeous! Putting this on my summer sewing list😍also yayyy for finally having warmer days in this hemisphere 😂💖from South Africa!
Thanks so much!! Funny you say that, I’ve got some material laying around which I thought would be perrrfect for a corset. So hopefully will get around to that soon 🤞🏽
girl, your channel is such a great idea! i was thinking of doing a very similar channel (and still may) but for now i'm just learning from you about how i'm going arrange my future custom wardrobe. thank you so much for putting up the effort all of this editing must require, it makes for a great learning aid and reference 8)

The method you use for installing sleeves do you not end up with a hole under your arm?
