Grills in this video : blazingembers....
Today, Trevor is reviewing the new SMART Weber Genesis 2022. There are very few in stock so we are super happy to show you this BBQ! Watch as Trevor gives a quick review of the Genesis and dives into what makes it a "smart" grill.
This grill definitely comes with some upgrades compared to the regulars 2022 editions. First off, it comes with a lot mire lights. there are lights inside of the grill and and also light up knobs. These are both upgrades for the smart edition. Next, you gain more access from the app to control your grill. Such features as monitoring the temp of your grill and turning the lights on and off are available through the smart functions! This is so cool and a huge upgrade for the future of smart grills!
As always we appreciate you taking the time to watch our videos. Please leave a like, comment, and be sure to subscribe! Let us know what you think of the Smart Weber!!

Thanks for the review, but a few comments:
1.) Why would you want to control the interior lights by the app? The lights automatically turn on when the lid is opened, and turn off when the lid is shut.
2.) Temp control by the app would be cool, but I hope no one grills while they're "away from home" :P

Another great review. I went with the E335 in the end. The price difference in the UK for the smart features didn’t quite stack up for me. Light features are great though. Oh and ignore whoever is commenting that you’re talking too much!?! Isn’t that the point of a review 👍🏻

If Webber can make temperature control a key feature in the "Smart" part in the future, that will be game changer for the gas grill. The Pullet grills already have this feature today.

Dude, your video is only 21-minutes long. I've done videos that were 2-HOURS long and people appreciated them immensely. If you are providing information, there are people out there (LIKE ME), who want to see and hear that information. Be thorough because most people appreciate that. Or, do a cliff notes video and then a full blown video and give the people with short attention spans a choice to be less informed. I've never bothered with being less gabby because I'm just a gabby type of guy but people have really appreciated the fact that I am very thorough and they like my personality. As a matter of fact, a gentleman bought me the 4-burner version of this very grill because of my gabby videos! Now I'm going to make some of my own grillin' videos and this brutha' can grill!
Keep up the good work. 😉👍

Any chance to have you include insights on the various grills specific to how easy or difficult they are to maintain (clean), with one focus on the drip pans? When looking at the Weber and Napoleon Prestige Pro 500, their drip pans seem to be a bit of a pain to pull out and put back in as opposed to let's say, Bull, Artisan, Blaze, etc. Thanks for the always informative videos...!

Great review! The USB-C port can be found on the control box (the box next to where you plug in the mains). It's under a white sticker and has a red rubber plug in it.
I've just built my EPX-335 in the UK and don't have any way of knowing what the fuel level is. I was wondering if you would be happy to share some photos of the analogue gas measurer as I can't work out if the US version has something different or if I'm missing something. Thank you 😊

@@embersliving Thanks for the reply. I got in contact with Weber and asked why the US model has the gas level indicator and the UK model doesn't. They said that our gas canisters are different to the US and the gas level indicators are built only for the US market gas canisters. Bit disappointed to find that out, especially as we pay about £400 more for the same product (the equivalent of about $2,230).

I'm a bit late, but you are a bit wrong with the wiring to the lights on the handle. Here are plenty of wires on the market which can stand 180°C or even higher when not PTFE covered. The batteries so close to the warm area worries me more. I think that it is a design problem. Finding a nice route for the cables would cost many ingenering hours.

I have a Weber s340 LX which at 50 degrees ambient temp hits 960 degrees at the grate. This unit does not have a sear station so the whole grate is one big sear station. It has a boost mode on the dial and note the total btu on this is about 43000 btu it gets hotter than the hinges of hell ! When the ambient temp is 60 degrees or above the grate temp is well over 1000 degrees. When I got this grill
it would only go to 400 degrees and I traced the problem to a defective regulator which Weber promptly replaced. I will take a set of veneer calipers and measure the thickness of the Firebox and report back.Always in joy your reviews, the best 👌
