That, I am fully against but it's going to happen whether we like it or not. If, on a TV show, the quantity is so much that it's getting ridiculous and that it could feed lots of people, then I agree with you. But better used for a cheap laugh than to get chucked away. I'm hoping you understand my stance haha. Against wasting food but from a realist point of view, it's going to happen regardless. :)
