Walking at First Light Through a Beautiful Cotswold Village

- So, today we are out and about walking at very first light in the village Of Bisley which is located around 4 miles east of Stroud in Gloucestershire. Bisley was a former civil parish but is now in the parish of Bisley-with-Lypiatt and comes under the Stroud district.
The village has two public houses, The Bear Inn and The Stirrup Cup. The parish church is the church of All Saints and is thought to possibly be of Anglo-Saxon origins.
During the walk we note two prominent features. The first feature is the village lockup, this is where drunks & petty criminals would of been locked up before appearing before the magistrate, the building would of originally had solid oak doors on it. The second feature is known as "Seven Wells" as it actually has seven springs emerging from the hillside out of the stone structure which is on Wells Lane. Due to the parked cars in front of the springs it was a little tricky getting a good landscape shot of the springs.
Over the years Bisley has been home to some well known people which include Jilly & Leo Cooper (Author & Publisher respectively), Denis Parsons Burkitt (Surgeon & Cancer Researcher), Mike Oldfield (Musician) and finally Michael sadleir (Novelist, Bibliographer, Book Collector & Publisher).
This video probably has some of the loudest birds sounds that I have heard so far, please use headphones for a full immersive binaural sound.
See if you can spot the hidden OAAW logo within the video - hint - its quite small and on the left quadrant of the screen.

I have to say you just can't beat a Cotswold Village for such beautiful architecture with the stunning Cotswold stone. The early mornings are so peaceful with the bird song accompanying you as you walk through. I didn't manage to spot the logo this time and I watched the video twice on fullscreen 😟

I also couldn't find the logo either, thinking it could possibly be in the grave yard or water fountain? Very tricky, but fun to try to find. 😀
What an auditory sensory experience listening to the birds on headphones. 🐦
When watching these videos, I always find the spot I would love to just sit and take in the beauty and sounds. This time, it was a spot up by the church, overlooking the village.

I can confirm that I won’t ever place the logo anywhere within the grounds or on a place of worship. Keep looking it’s in the video :) enjoy your afternoon/evening. OAAW

Beautiful little village and that church building is quite prominent; much larger than in previous locations. The white flowers in the cemetery and the yellow flowers halfway down the stairs were beautiful, coupled with the birdsong throughout the video. Like others have stated, I couldn't spot the hidden logo (unless it was the school sign), in which case I'm glad you're a TH-camr and not a sniper :) Thanks for sharing OAAW.

@@michaeltichael ah yes, that is true. Do you recall I mentioned to you that I thought I had a problem with the new camera with the horizontal wobbles, well I have heard back from the repair centre and as it transpires the camera is unable to be repaired and I have received a refund. The very first time I used it was on the Taynton morning walk if I remember correctly and as soon as I watched the footage back I noticed the issue but just put it down to incorrect settings or because I used the camera in conjunction with a gimbal, since then I have tried it with many different combinations & settings but the horizontal rolling persisted (it was bugging me like crazy). I don’t think I will bother with another Action 3 as I am hoping that DJI actually bring out a Pocket 3 soon as per rumours & speculation (it could be a phenomenal camera). @@OutandaboutWalking I'm glad you were given a refund. As you mentioned the Pocket 3, on reddit I've read one person gave a mid-April estimate. Personally I would love to get a new Mavic and try the hyperlapse function and try to find a scene which can loop. In different parts of the world there are laws governing drone usage, so I'm not sure what the laws are like in England. Have a great weekend ahead, OAAW!

Hi Rebecca. Thank you for you feedback. I am sorry to hear that the videos are not of an acceptable visual quality. Unfortunately the image won’t appear so clear purely because of the time of day I often film at which sometimes can be at the very break of dawn which means there is not much ambient light for the camera to work effectively and produce a clear image, I could film later in the day but the trade off would be there would be lots of people & vehicles around (especially in larger villages like this one) which means the video would lose the peaceful ambient vibe that the early mornings offer. In the meantime I will look into noise reduction software to see if it can help reduce the grain & noise in the footage. Thanks for watching & hope you won’t be too put off in revisiting the channel.
