There's a moment in this video, which starts so gently and quietly despite the gusty wind, where we're walking beside that wall for Aldsworth Manor and the row of houses, where the wood pigeon is calling and this is bliss for me. I can smell the smells because the association of that song and those colours is so strong. This is the genius of this kind of film. You forget all the drama of the world because you are in this elevated situation where you can just walk. I was born in London and spent most of my years there. I don't think I could ever return to living in a big city (although London has amazing wild parks like Hampstead Heath and Wimbledon Common) because I love that sense of this world. And this is my favourite season. As the leaves start to fall from the trees and there's often a scent of smoke from the log fires being relit. Watching your videos reminds me, on days when I might have had other things on my mind, why I love living here. Turn off the news with its reports of disaster just for a while and take a walk in this world which seems so far removed from all those crises. Those stones have stood for, sometimes, hundreds of years. Thank you, as always, for taking us on this lovely walk.
Jago, thank you so much for your lovely comment. You always sum things up so perfectly! Funny thing is, my escape is your videos, speaking of which I’m looking forward to tuning in a bit later this evening to today’s upload :). Thanks for your continued amazing support. OAAW
I do envy you! Another beautiful peaceful enchanting walk & the scenery is like something out of a classic book with such dreamy lanes & meadows. The gate to the chuch reminded me of a very old cemetary we have here. All your walks are filled with beautiful, whimsical & enchanting scenery. Thank you so much. Made my day yet again. ❤
Ciao, questa parte dell'Inghilterra mi sta piacendo veramente tanto, tutti i villaggi sono belli e guardando i tuoi video, ho già i miei preferiti buona settimana
Thank you, AOOW! Great walk today! Quintessential Cotswold! Cant help but love it when a pop of color such as a front door or the awesome flora comes around and I for one, appreciate when you pause to get a closer view of the flowers. Hoping you have a great coming week! Be well! Cheers!
Thank you for taking us along on this beautiful walk, OAAW. I love those rolling hills at 23:15. The skies being a bit opaque in the morning and the breeze makes me feel this was a refreshing walk. You certainly picked the right time for it. Have a great week ahead!
Thank you, Michael. I think you will also enjoy the next coming upload as there are some very pleasant vistas of the Englishcountryside :). Have a good week too. OAAW
Thanks ever so much James. Yes, very fortunate indeed but also I’m just as fortunate to have your kind support for the channel, which means a lot to me. All the best to you. OAAW
Thanks Alison. I recall you saying about the deliveries you do out in the Cotswolds, funny enough, majority of the time I don’t get a phone signal. Have a good week. OAAW

Love Aldsworth dreadful when you are trying to find a customers house. Not a very good signal for sat nav and can make it tricky.
Thanks Alison. I recall you saying about the deliveries you do out in the Cotswolds, funny enough, majority of the time I don’t get a phone signal. Have a good week. OAAW
is the wind still recorded on zoom h2n? there is no distortion in the audio! or did you couple it with the roland headphones?
Hi, Luka. Yes, still recording on the h2n with the Roland mics. Thanks
