Plaster of Paris is amazing in the creator world... Make sure to heat the outside before the inside. He shows it plenty of times in his videos. This makes sure it doesn't crack open the design . Good luck smithing

Looks like 22K when you heat the gold up orangish color. Pure gold goes bright yellow when you heat it up.
It's 100% Pure Gold we use the orangish color may came up due to lights :-)
