Yes that is what it looks like. Now wounded families hand these pieces down the family as heirlooms. The weight of gold on them must make them expensive. But worth it, fantastic pieces of art

I am a silversmith for 20 years. I do not think it is cotton. I believe it may be fiberglass. This is a material we use to insulate buildings. I may be wrong, it is just my guess. If it truly is fiberglass, then it must be handled with great care and protection must be used for handling and breathing.

Hi Jack want to know ,the usual gold set ,like this one are made from 22k or 24 k, as I have heard that 24k gold is pure gold and it's hard to make anything frm it, usually 22k or 21 k is used for making gold articles, do let me know your view...thanks.

From my point of view making jewelry from 24K Gold is more easier than 22K or 21K because it get hard when we decrease the purity of gold and it's like i am always working with 24K gold so it's easy for me to make with 24K but little difficult to make from 22K
I will make you sure that we mention the purity of gold in the description and even eyes can make a difference between 24K or 22K Gold
I will make a video in which i will first refine the gold then i will make jewelry from that pure gold :-)
