Hey my loves and welcome back. Finally, my long awaited home tour is here! It has been 2 years since we moved into this house and I thought I would show you around and share all the changes we have made. Our home is cream and beige with some grey and white, pops of gold and black too. I hope you love it! xxxx

I've been looking for a dining table for months I will be copying you on that one! Also you mentioned about changing the colour on the fire edging you can get something called rub n buff it's amazing I've used it on a few things around my house to change the chrome to brushed gold/champagne colours. They do different tones of gold colours. You literally put the product on a cloth and buff it in 💕

@@hazelwoodx it lasts really well I've used it on door knobs, toilet flush, metal bits on lamps allsorts with no issues of wear yet I applied it in April this year. There's loads of tips and tricks about application on TH-cam x

Gorgeous home , I think the length of the curtains in the dining room are perfect. The longer the drapes the more luxery the home looks ❤ I'm so glad you have grown to love the kitchen too, I commented when you did your empty house tour and I said it's gorgeous the black and cream and wooden floors , so I'm glad you have realised and grown to love the kitchen also ❤
Oh thanks i didnt think of that! Yeah at first i wanted to change the floor and work tops but have realised the floor is lovely and adds some warmth - im still not 1000% sold on black work tops as my top choice but i do like it now ❤️ xxx
@@hazelwoodx black worktops not bad, but personally I like wooden worktops, maybe matching ones to the flooring.
Love the colour of your home. I always go for white walls. I tend to get bored of colours, so I stick to white . Good advice about when you move into your new place, not to start changing things.

I really love the neutral tones and love the carpet. I’m hoping to move soon and I need new carpets lol so it’s good to have visuals on things. I used to be good at visualising things but I have long term illness which can cause brain fog so I struggle these days. But I’m at the age now 43 😅 and just buy what catches my eye and try make it work lol 😆 take care and thank you for the home tour xx

I love your house and how beautiful you decorated it 😍 one thing what is missing (in my opinion, but it’s personal preference I guess ) is lack of curtains to make your rooms more cozy. Apart of that stunning 🤩

Hey the rug you have the big one nead the sofa is that ivory jewel shaggy? That's the one I have from dunelm looks simular but we haven't moved yet so the rug is still in storage (moving soon) colour looks the same not sure if yours is called shaggy jeweled can you let me know xx

Sorry to burst your bubble. You don’t have an island in your kitchen. An island in the kitchen gets its name from an actual island. A place (land) that is individually isolated/surrounded by water
So in order for it to be classed as a Island in your kitchen it has to separate unit.. surrounded by nothing/not connected (if you know what I mean). What you have is a breakfast bar.
Regardless you have a lovely home.. but it’s the bathroom for me 😍

I’ve just got a new home and i need some inspiration perhaps you could give me some decoration tips 😊
It’s pretty bland and could do with an injection of personality but it’s nicely done, appears well looked after and clean and that is important.
Yeah i agree it could have some personal touches, ive been focusing on just getting it looking nice as a base first off then over time will build on it to make it more personalised to us, although i do like the show home sort of look
