@@milehighfooddudeI think it is worth it to go to the Idaho Springs one at least once. The building itself is historic and pretty cool. I don't go a lot, but every time I've been there, customer service has been great.
My wife and I love Snooze. It’s our favourite brunch spot. But we go to the Centennial location. Beau Jo’s is delicious too. I haven’t tried Denver Biscuit Company yet.
Hey, Atomic didn't charge you for the biscuit cinnamon roll! Was that because you complained and said it was overbaked? I think since it's made from biscuit dough and not yeast dough, it's supposed to have a harder, crispier exterior.
Maybe I need to retry DBC but I thought it was awful. Not sure what the hype is all about other than the size of the food. Biscuits are not soft and pillowy, they reminded me more of scones.
I've never been to DBC but I need that Franklin thing! Snooze used to be a lot better. They're ok, but they don't have that special feel anymore. I'm not a huge fan of Beau Jo's only because I'm not a crust person. Way too much crust and it's extremely bland.
Snooze is OK. I sure wouldn't wait more than 5-10 minutes for a table tho. I prefer IHOP over Snooze (but you can't get a bloody Mary at IHOP). I don't care for Beau Jo's Pizza at all. (I like thin crust NYC style, so nope). DBC is also OK. Of course, taste is an individual thing, and everyone has their favorites and least favorites. I live in the DMA and enjoy watching your takes on places I haven't yet.
Best breakfast I can remember was a hole in the wall place on 39 street in Brooklyn. 2 eggs, toast, sausage links, hash browns, small tomato juice and coffee, $1.99 Coffee to go 50 cents, served in the blue and white Grecian urn cups. Blue collar place.
Um...what? I'm from Colorado, never heard of a "Denver style" or "colorado style" pizza before. Didn't look any different than tons of pizzas out east but you do you Denver lol
@hardchooligan it’s a “mountain pie” where the peaks on the braided crust represent the Rocky Mountains. Crust is generally the same as NY style but not stretched quite as thin
Only Pizza in Denver worse than Beau Jo's is Pizza Hut. Heaviest gross dough ever found on a Pizza, and that honey dip for the tasteless dough is supposed to be some innovative unique thing. I ain't buying it. I like Snooze a lot, it is overpriced though.. I would put In and Out burger as most overrated Denver restaurant but not sure that counts. I do not hate it. Just find it average.
Was great 20yrs ago. Onion rings were perfection. Haven’t had it in at least 15yrs since the Colorado Springs location closed. I rarely leave the vail valley these days as the citiots drive me nuts.
You would really have to try hard to screw up pancakes. Bacon is a given. It's good. Not a very good critique of a place if that's all you're going to eat.

I've noticed people are just complainers on all Denver related social media pages.
That's also true😅😅 they like to compare it to everything else. I'm just like, enjoy what's here
it's not complaining . we got shit stains moving into our state. they change our menu's . just to fit the shit mains.
If you're going to Beau Jo's, it's Arvada or Idaho Springs.....Idaho Springs is the absolute best place to get it.
Idaho Springs is the absolute worst service. Rude AS waitress/bartender
You also don't go to Beau Joe's for just a pepperoni mountain pie.
Honestly, this one by me in Lone Tree was absolutely delicious and I didn't have to drive to Idaho Springs
@@TomAllnattdon't go there for pizza? I'm not sure I follow

Denver's overrated food list starts and ands with Snarf's. Overpriced mid sandwiches.
Yes! Also the fact they put hot peppers in every sandwich says it can’t be very good. Like no other sub place does that.
There is a Snarf burger location that I recently tried and really enjoyed.
But the grilled cheese with mushrooms.....
facts!

Great video Nick......also like your shirt😊
We had Beaujos for a half a minute in Durango a long time ago and it was “meh”. I can’t remember if it even lasted a whole year before closing.
I do not consider that pizza. Garbage.
Fat Sully's Recommendation: White Pizza, Caramelized Onions, Tomato, Basil
I loved the style of this video. A lot more laid back for your style and less over edited. More please!
Awesome! Glad to hear. I want to keep it pretty low key
If you go to snooze reserve a spot on the wait-list online before you go so you don't wait in line for an hour
Great tip! Or try to go on a weekday
I love all three of those places. Lived in Denver my whole life. ❤❤❤❤
I've never been to DBC but I need that Franklin thing!

the snooze hate is crazy
All 3 of those spots are bomb no matter which location! To me the most overrated places here are Dave's hot chicken, Raising Cane's and HuHot
Yeah. A lot of overrated chain restaurants

Nice! Yeah, all fair takes. I used to go to Ihop all the time in my 20s after the bar or club so it holds a special place in my heart lol

All i have to say is: "Jake & Eggs 2026!"
I can't wait🙌🙌

Are you from the soggy Midwest? Things don’t need to be wet all the time. If you are poor from the midwest that tracks.
I still will always like Woodys for pizza over Beau Jos 🍕
Oh yeah. Lots of good pizza spots but I really enjoyed this experience
I could not agree more!
Casa Bonita overrated
Yes very true
🎉
🎉
I used to live by Snooze. So overrated!
Um...what? I'm from Colorado, never heard of a "Denver style" or "colorado style" pizza before. Didn't look any different than tons of pizzas out east but you do you Denver lol
Oh yeah. Bea Jo's is Colorado style with the braided bread and honey
Originated in Idaho Springs. It’s Colorado Style pizza. Serve it with honey for that thick braided crust.
@hardchooligan it’s a “mountain pie” where the peaks on the braided crust represent the Rocky Mountains. Crust is generally the same as NY style but not stretched quite as thin
Snooze is GROSS. Like extra gross.

Fat Burger is way over rated
Haven't been there in a long time
