Hi there, i have done similar mods to my AHU. What sort of head work / cam did you use to rev that high? Also, did you get this dyno'd? Thanks, stefan.
+Joël Torti Nothing special in fact, just few years of trying different things. Holset HX35, 0.341mm nozzles, cam, head etc. Still stock bottom end, works fine for summer / track use 3rd year now.
Diesel power :) nice job! Can you write more about this engine? Is it forged or running on stock pistons and connecting rods? What about the clutch and gearbox? :)
Thank you! Better late than never. From those all others than clutch, are stock and ~450k km driven. Clutch disc is stock and renewed, pressure plate is updated to SRE.
Better late than never. SOI 16-17 degree, pump voltage full 5V and on low limits from idle. Idle/base timing is around 4-5 degrees with solenoid on 2.8% duty.
Thank you! Reliable as well. It´s around 16-17 degree, more makes only more peak cylinder pressure and no more power and less does raise EGT. With big pump and injector cant use as much injection advance like with smaller units.
11mm pumps are good up to 6300-6500rpm and 10mm pumps around 7000-7500 depending few other variables as well. That´s stock unoverhauled lots driven bottom of 1Z engine with ported head and grinded cam from stock, Holset HX35 Super, 0,341mm H-Floxes, 11mm ip and chinese IC and some other minor enhancements. Very reliable setup and good for every day use and track use as well.
+Markus Hornburg there is no such thing as best. Stock IP is fine, but i'd update heavier pulley IP from agr/alh style engine. I'd use 0.28-0.34mm nozzles.
Unfortunately no. If you want some help, i suggest you to register to www.turbodiesel.fi forum. You will find very good advise to your problems from there. You will also find me there.
David Mave Prod Yes thats true, its from Cordoba. I personally like its colors more than Golfs gauges, and original was bit broken. Also had this on shelf :D

Nice video, what is your SOI and voltage in high rev in sw ? Im interesting about injection pump timing also.

Nice power! How much soi at 5500?
Like a 1.4 MPI SOME ENFORCERS !

Not tdi sound. This 1,9d sound chip.
Damn. I must have made mistake to install DI pistons, head, injectors, crank, rods and block to IDI engine then.
Damn dude how can that engine withstand that much rpm, what setup do you have ?
5524 yes i think

Holy God! 1z engine? Please tell me more about the setup!
Hi Chuck! 1Z engine, yes! :D Stock bottom end (excl. lowered cr a bit), Holset HX35, 0.341mm nozzles, cam, head, 11mm stock pump, 3.5" ex. Quite simple mods, and works well! :)
Would you help me please?

Adrian Gonzalez Depends a lot what do you want to do for it, and what you are up to. Theres a lot of injectors which fit.
