Husavik (Not My Hometown) but I want to come. I have a visual impairment though so can't drive or anything. Seems like a tough place to get to form London. Will try and make an Iceland round trip and include Husavik. I expect tourism to boom for the town now so hope it's not too crowded when I come.
We just came back from our trip from Iceland in August, and this video was super helpful in choosing which boat to book. We ended up with the Rib boat because as she said it can react faster to chase the whales. Also because it can return to the shore faster, it allowed us to stay out longer at the bay. With a smaller boat the people from one side could easily look over the person on the other side. The sea was not very smooth on the day we rode, so we got a little wet from waves. Thanks for the great video!
Can you please suggest the best time to visit Iceland, considering Northern Lights, whale watching and puffing watching, relatively close to winter season and at a time when its not busy with tourists. Please give me an option that will let me have the most of those mentioned above and please list the things I might have to miss.
What are the waves like in the area they take you? I've gone on two whale watching tours in Canada (Vancouver Island & Newfoundland) where they were crazy at times and I have a bad back so the waves were fairly concerning.
Great video! Can you do a video on the best places to go for nightlife scene for each day of the week in Reykjavík? I’m so curious to know where all the hot spots are!
Do you know if this only works during certain times? I just tried to book a GG2 in June 2024 and it says "Code is not valid for the selected travel times". Ha no biggie if not, but hey, who doesn't love a discount! :) @@IcelandwithaView
Nice... we also did the whale watching tour in husavik. It was a really great nad unforgettable experience seeing the dancing whales. We share our unforgettable whale watching experience in our channel as well.😀😀
Thank you for this video! We just posted the video of us going on the whale watching tour with Gentle Giants back in May using your discount code! Saved us some money and narrowed down our choices on where to see some whales in Iceland. Such magnificent creatures!
@@oh0my Hi, we booked the GG1 Whale Watching experience with Gentle Giants. The experience was great from start to end! We were also able to see whales pretty up close. Definitely would recommend! They do have those speedboats as well GG2 which you can go really up close but I'm not sure how that experience is like. Let us know which one you end up going with and how it went!
Do a video what people in Iceland think closing wow airlines what Icelandic people think will now happen to the tourism because so many people who live there they are in the tourism business is how they get their paychecks

Any recommended whale watching tours nearby Reykavik?
Amazing video! Thanks a lot! Does the discount still works? ❤
Yes, WHALESWITHAVIEW should still work for the GG1 and GG2 tours.

Is there a minimum age for Gentle Giants? We will be traveling with a 2 year old.
Can you do a video about geothermal pools/spas? Can't wait to visit in June!!!

Serious question-what happens if you have to pee?! : /
During April to September, the chance for spotting whale there is 100% every day?
I don’t think they could ever guarantee sightings, but that is high season so whales are more abundant
Where the whales can live coz there're gentle people.
Thx
You should do a video about swimming with the whales.
Why not, right? ;)

I dont think that whales are gentle giants
sometimes you see s**t
Watch the beautiful whale, then another boat will probably harpoon the whale then cut it up on the harbour for export to Japan.
