I’m never up this early (6 AM) but we have a chigger infestation so I hardly slept. Me and the cats are quarantined. I just finished a rough showering with lots of scrubbing, followed by benadryl anti itch ointment all over my body, followed by a full coverage spray down of Zevo bug repellent. If the weather warms up enough today they will get medicated baths. I am most concerned about Misty because she’s thin haired and is allergic to bugs, but she doesn’t seem to be itching too bad, so I am thankful.
All for some lettuce…I had a chigger infestation about two weeks ago and thought I learned my lesson; I wore boots, long sleeves, double layer pants and socks. And I switched out of the clothing right after I harvested lettuce from my garden. Anyway, I digress.
