The problem with icing is not the weight gain: that doesn’t influence the flight at all. The ice deforms the wing profile’s shape and increases the surface roughness considerably. This variations make the boundary layer become turbulent (from laminar state) earlier creating way more drag and less lift. That’s why the plane tries to keep the nose up at the very end: the angle of attack has to increase in order to maintain the same amount of lift: eventually this doesn’t happen any more and the air flux detaches from the wing (stall). The stall can happen at any speed: it is only related to an excessive angle of attack, not to speed (even if in normal conditions you can talk about a minimum speed that makes your angle of attack too big) Greetings from an almost-graduate aerospace engineer
TBM has boots, not anti ice. The difference being you need to activate the boots to remove ice only after it's accumulated. Anti-ice is things like heated leading edges, pitot heat etc.

It's used for mainly helicopters and private jets, I think it would be cool if you try to land a 737 or even like a 767 or a 777. I personally think this would be a great video. Please consider.
