I love this! I love metro, cuz I live far away from our capital city where a metro is located, and I rarely visit it. We don't even have railways in our city! But I remember when I've been in Moscow, and Yamanote line is very similar to our "Moscow Central Circle", which is actually not a metro line, but "on-ground" railway, but integrated into Moscow metro system. But there's something special I noticed while listening to this video: there's a unique chime sound on each station (I'm not sure is it arrival sound or departure one), it adds so much vibe! And also this "arigatoo gozaimasu" :) Japan is so polite country! I wish I could visit it one day! P. S. and also numbering the stations line "JY 12" is really helpful, some station names are hard to catch actually. It's a problem of Moscow metro: the names are just transliterated from Russian to English and would sound like "Novoslabotskaya" or "Ulitsa Tisacha Devyatsot Pyatogo Goda", ouch! It's just hard not just to catch, but even read! So yea, Tokio metro is so good at making things comfortable :) Arigatoo gozaimasu for this video! :D
Thank you so much for your comment! We really appreciate you watching and listening to the video! That is a really interesting bit of information that you shared. Nice, subscribed. Japan looks like a wonderful country. The magic of the Internet and video's like this allow me to travel the world and to places i would never get. They show the real image and not one put together by travel agents.
It's crazy to think you don't really need a car (not saying that you can't) but it really helps getting around everywhere for cheaper. Having stations in every city like they do would do wonders for health and well-being in the states. Sadly the U.S. has a crime crisis on its hands at the moment. 😞

Last time was june 2019, then covid happened and the border control forced me to cancel my march 2020 trip. Since them I'm locked out of japan and I lost my lover too. Miss japan and miss her everyday, and videos like this bring me back to a happier place.
Thank you for sharing this videos.
Thanks so much for your thoughts! Now that Japan’s borders are open again, please come back and enjoy the trains!
I was in Tokyo 8 weeks ago and used the Yamanote line every day. Also had a ride on the Yamabiko (Green shinkansen at right in the biginning of this video). It was the first of what I hope is many visits to Japan.
We hope you can make it back again to relive it all!
The surround sound is incredible
Thank you for the comment! We are glad that you appreciate the sound quality!
I too was impressed by the audio quality! Great work!
Thank you!
I just come back from Tokyo and I'm already feeling nostalgic about these metro sounds lol
Thanks for watching! We appreciate it!
How fascinating it is! Every time I look at Japan and especially at Tokyo, I feel like it's the future. Something very atmospheric, not quite clear, but really alluring. I dream of visiting Tokyo in the future. It is truly a magical city. I'm sure it will be one of my best memories
What a lovely comment! Thanks so much! We hope you can come to Tokyo again in the future!
I miss visiting Japan and traveling in general. My family is telling me to move to Japan for university, so I was thinking of my possible transportation and came across this. The last time I visited was in January 2020 and I remember these train rides very well. I haven't been on an airplane since COVID. :(
With Japan opening up now to tourists, we hope that you can make your way back here again, especially for university!. Thank you watching our video! We appreciate it!
@@audioodyssey3412 Thank you!!!

Wow thank you for this ive been living in japan for 14 years but i went back to my country and became very weak physically ive always been homesick
If I managed to get a seat, I used to snooze a lot whenever I caught the trains in Tokyo. If I close my eyes I’m right back there. Thank you for this.
We usually fall asleep on trains as well, but somehow wake-up at the destination station! Thanks for sharing the memory! We appreciate it!

Omg I just started watching for a few minutes and I'm already having some pavlovian reaction to the station jingles. I miss living in Tokyo.
Thanks for watching and reacting to the sounds! Its exactly we wanted viewers (and listeners) to experience!
Went to Japan last month, listening again to all music jr train is so cool! Thank you doing all that! I will return to Japan again for sure
We're so happy you enjoyed your trip to Japan and we're glad our video could help with your memories of it! We hope you can come back to visit again soon!

We hope you can get back and relive it all again! Thanks for watching!
The GOAT Line
The YAMAGOAT line
I haven't been able to make it back to Japan for several years, and I'm apparently suffering from Tokyo train system deprivation; I ended up watching the whole video. XD めっちゃ懐かしい。。。 Thank you so much for this.
That's amazing! We made this video for people like you! Thanks so much for watching the whole video! We hope you can visit Japan again soon!
I visited Japan just a few months ago, and always take the Yamanote line. Japan has been my favourite place in the world.
It's our favorite place too! The Yamanote Line might just be the best train line in the world too! Just saying...hahaha
Last time I've been in Tokyo was 2007, and I fondly remember all my train rides within Tokyo and Fuchu (where my office was that time). Hope to visit again Tokyo soon!!! Thanks for putting a video on the Yamanote Line. :)
We hope you can visit again soon too! We appreciate you taking the time to comment and watch our video!
@@audioodyssey3412 definitely! I'd love to go back to the place where there's lot of trains and that they run very efficiently! See you soon Tokyo! 😊
This is a very good info for tourists who are not familiar with the stops of this Yamanote Line.
We’re happy that you find this video helpful and we hope you’re right, that tourists can use this video for useful information m! 👍👍👍
My dream as a foreigner is to stabilize my life in some big city in Japan just to hear the metros, they are so satisfying
We hope that your beautiful dream becomes a reality! Thanks for watching! 🎉🎉🎉
@@audioodyssey3412 You're welcome, I loved your video
I use videos of Tokyo Subway as brackground images and white noise. Best video to concentrate and be productive! This particular one is one of the best ones

We had to leave japan last year that Sound i feel at home I hope I can go back soon
We really hope you get a chance to come back again to hear the sounds in person! Thank you so much for watching!
Been riding this line almost everyday on the way to college and still am to this day for years to come.
The Yamanote Line is literally the "circle of life" for you!
Thank you so much for this video... I cant wait to return to Japan when it finally opens to tourists again, precious and beatiful country. 私は日本語を勉強します。 どうもありがとうございました
We appreciate your comment! Thank you so much for watching! Japan is waiting for you to return and experience it again! 日本語を頑張って!
I miss japan, watching this video with watering my eyes 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
We hope you can make it back to Japan again soon!
So yea, Tokio metro is so good at making things comfortable :)
Arigatoo gozaimasu for this video! :D
Thank you so much for your comment! We really appreciate you watching and listening to the video! That is a really interesting bit of information that you shared. We think the Japanese train system tries to make things as simple as possible, so many people can ride it, especially since Tokyo prepared for the 2020 Olympics.
I just returned from a 25 day Japan trip and find myself missing the train rides and hearing them pass our hotel at night.
Thank you for your comment!
We hope you can visit again in the future to hear and ride the trains again!
Upon writing this it has been 5 days since I have left Tokyo and returned to my home country. I have been there for only three weeks but it felt much like a home and miss it dearly. I wish to return sooner than later.
Thank you for the video!
We're so happy you enjoyed your trip to Japan and we're glad our video could help with your memories of it! We hope you can come back to visit again soon!
Thankyou for this, I stayed in Tokyo for a little over a month and just came back from my trip having regretted not recorded the audio of the stops and the announcements (especially where I stayed at Uguisudani Station). The Yamanote Line announcements was like ASMR 😮
We're glad that we could record the audio for you! Thanks so much for watching (and listening)! We really appreciate it! Maybe you'll get a chance again in the future to return and ride again!
This is such a genius idea...making asmr videos out of train videos!!
Thanks for the positive support, JY 221 Series! We'll be trying to get a bunch more videos of different train lines around town!
I lost my career as a cabin crew since Covid-19. Now, it is much more difficult for me to get back there again. My god, I miss Japan so much!
Now that Japan’s borders are open again, please come back and visit!
@@audioodyssey3412 Sure, I will!
とても素敵な旅でした。 どうもありがとうございます。
ご覧いただきまして誠にありがとうございます! ぜひまたお越しいただければ幸いです。
This is interesting to see how close the stations are to each other. You can actually see some of the stations already from the previous station, but when you have to walk that distance you realise it's not as close as it seems.
It's definitely a bit farther to walk from one station to the next, but Tokyo is definitely a walkable city, compared to other cities.

Thank you for watching! Yes, more English announcements these days, especially since Tokyo prepared for Tokyo Olympics in 2020.
I'm actually here to research and familiarize myself with the Yamanote line so I won't get lost when i get there. See you this autumn, Tokyo!
Did it work???

The sound quality is soooooo good!
Thank you! We try our best to record the best quality sound!
In Akihabara, the message "延発 18:30" is displayed.
The driver is instructed to "depart at 18 minutes 30 seconds because the later train is delayed"
Wow, thanks! I didn’t notice that! Great eyes! 👀👍
or it is 6:30PM?
@@hkpuipui99 Good idea! But we recorded this video at 3pm. So, miyakoutsuno would be correct. 👍
Same with Ueno then? It flashes 26:10
”depart at 18 min 30 sec because the later train is delayed”
Is that means the driver is instructed to depart later than scheduled time to prevent a phenomenon like “bus bunching” ?
Wow, the surround sounds are amazing
Thank you for watching! We're glad you appreciate the sound quality!
I always wondered how long it would take to ride the Yamanote line all the way around. Now I know! This is so soothing. Thank you for posting!
Yamamoto line not Yamanote line

Nice, subscribed. Japan looks like a wonderful country. The magic of the Internet and video's like this allow me to travel the world and to places i would never get. They show the real image and not one put together by travel agents.
Thank you so much for checking out our video! We hope you can visit Japan in person some time soon!
It's much slower than any ride I've had on this line and the driver is doing a lot of paperwork.
I say Simulator!
😂 we assure you it’s real 👍

I lived in Oosaki 2012
I miss yamanote line
We used to live in Oosaki at that time too! Amazing! Please ride the Yamanote Line again!
Good video, I think the scenery from the train is well taken. I used to use this train a lot when I used to go to Akihabara, so I miss it a little.
Thanks for watching our video! We hope you can come back to visit again soon!
It's crazy to think you don't really need a car (not saying that you can't) but it really helps getting around everywhere for cheaper.
Having stations in every city like they do would do wonders for health and well-being in the states.
Sadly the U.S. has a crime crisis on its hands at the moment. 😞
The convenience of the train system and the relative cheapness over cars definitely helps with the overall quality of life.
The Gotanda melody is absolutely chirpy
Our favorite is Takadanobaba with the AstroBoy theme song!
I didn't know I needed this.
We didn't know so many people needed this! :)
