Hi Dave, I used to watch tarantula kat but the way she ended every video was giving me anxiety so I found you instead. Bravo to your wife and you for making these videos so entertaining and educational with a whole Lotta fun sprinkled in❤❤Love your spiders too😊
I'm not a spider owner because im still scared of them, but not as bad as i used to be. l look forward to every Monday and Thursday evening to you and camera Lady interesting videos.👍
Hi Dave, sorry that there weren't more live slings in the eggsac. The ones that you managed to save, all look like they're overdue for a moult, don't they? Well done on pulling that sac in time to rescue the ones that did make it!!!
Nice to see a new egg sac pull, even if the results were a bit less than what one might have hoped for. I've been enjoying the outdoor Beastie Room build, but it's always good to go back to the basics!
Sorry you didn't get a full viable sac and I hope the19 make it. Can't wait until you can get back to filming breeding videos! Those are my favorites with the pulling of egg sacs my 2nd favorite! Take care. 💖😊
very interesting with the amount of infertile eggs PROFF, hopefully the babies will come round and do well. .great wee update with mum and babies. some good footage CAMERA LADY. the new beastie room hopefull through time will produce great results. take care guys and many thanks
Brilliant video Dave, pity about the egg sac, but hopefully the next one will be better, anyway Dave another super job by yourself and camera 📷 lady Dave.
22:22 Hi Dave, I'm a math PhD with some physics knowledge who always enjoys your show. You were speculating whether differences in barometric pressure from one enclosure to the next might affect surviveability. Definitely not. As long as your enclosures are not hermetically sealed (which they aren't, because your spiders need to breathe), all the enclosures in your house (or your whole neighborhood for that matter) are at the same pressure unless you're being sucked into a tornado!
Hopefully you pulled them just in time and the next 24 hours in the cup will do them some good on a high shelf where it’s nice and humid. Fingers crossed
Hello dear Dave and Sweet Camera Lady and that spider with its pink toes are cute 😍🕷👍! We are having the end of a heat 🥵 wave in Sweden 🇸🇪 and we did have a tropical night to this past night 🌙, it was not so fun! We also had dry thunderstorms with a lot of lighting this early morning!
Hello Dave , sorry for my long absence it's been crazy managing my spiders and keeping myself healthy since retirement I see camera Lady is as good as ever and I'm absolutely thrilled you were able to save some of your babies. Great video as always kept me on the edge of my seat take care for now I have a lot of your videos to catch up on lol 🙏
@daveslittlebeasties Thanks so much Dave now that I have the time your videos are giving me the confidence to try my luck at breeding my Avicularia avicularia 🙏🙏🙏
Hello Dave and Camera Lady. Perhaps it is my bias for the lovely glass enclosures but I am leaning toward that being the trouble with these egg sacs 🤣🤣. It is still good to see a little of the breeding picking up again. I just received notice the other day that the Texas tarantula migration is about to start. Not really a migration but it is when all the males go on walk about looking for love. I’ll see if I can get some pictures. When I was a kid we would come across rivers of tarantulas crossing the road. Fascinating! Anyway, here’s hoping for more healthy sacs. Would love a follow up on these little guys. Y’all have a lovely day and we will see you soon!❤️🩷💛😊
Hey Guys. Another really interesting vid. From what you said about pairing in the glass enclosures, it had me thinking that maybe the glass enclosures give your Females a better view of their environment, which in turn makes them feel far more relaxed leading to higher fertility rates and better success. The ventilation between the two types of enclosure may play a part in the incubation of the egg sacks like you mentioned. It will be interesting to see what conclusions you come to after experimenting with the different options you have there at Beastie Central. I have my fingers crossed for the slings you recovered, and I'm sure a little TLC from Camera Lady will help to bring the little babies along. No mention of the Sparky this time, any chance of a Beastie Build update?
Hey Dave! Great video man. Not a raging success by any means but not a total loss either. I am inclined to agree with you though man. This kind of thing kind of gets us scratching our heads and asking all sorts of questions. Many of which we may never have an answer to. Great video Dave. Watched it on my break at work. See you on Thursday mate. I look forward to what you have done n store for us. -Noah.
Hi Dave, love the avicularia!, thank you for this video, and congratulations, although you would have wanted more slings. it's really itching to give it a go with my avicularia, but I have no experience, and wunder If I need to change temperatures/humidity in the enclosures to encourage them for a pairing. And....I need to purchase an adult male off course, because I only have female spiders in my room.
The mother is a stunner and amazing at cricket, the way she batted that roach away was awesome! Is the sac really dry ( I mean in general )? It is sad when you see a spider taking such good care over her little eggs! I really hope the little ones recover they are such gorgeous looking spiders! Would you like us all to urge the electrician we could all send him a text, we all, want the beastie room finished now? ❤❤❤
Hey Dave, After watching your videos for at least 2 years I finally got my GBB a while back. (I think I sent you a drawing once online!) I was so nervous. But I also got sent a curly hair free sling and now I have a pumpkin patch. My flat isn’t the warmest in the world so I got reptile mats. The thin plastic sheets, they just feel like a warm rock to me, Ive got temp gauges. But my GBB goes straight to the glass nearest the heat pad as soon as I put it on. I’m assuming from what you say about spiders seeking out warmth that she’s totally happy being warm. And first thing in the morning the heat pad side is her favourite spot. Thermometer says 75 at most when it’s on. I just don’t feel room temp is right. She gravitates to wherever is warmest!
Makes me wonder if the ones that lay second egg sacs if when they put the first one out are they getting rid of all the infertile eggs first and then with the second one it's all the fertile eggs really makes me wonder and questioned it love the building videos and sadly I can't wait for more. ❤❤😊love all the way from Iowa ❤❤❤
The "vibes" of the new room may be influencing the spiders. I've noticed that some structures "feel" different than others. Maybe the new building will be more comfortable. They'll have a permanent room of their own. Just a thought.
When Avicularia molt or lay an egg sac, do they rub their urticating hairs into the webbing? Just wondering if you need to wear gloves if you are cleaning their enclosure or rehousing?
I hope the little ones make it ❤ They look a bit white-ish, as if they're dry, or is that webbing residue? Would love an update om them in a couple of weeks :)
That is a bit of rotten luck Dave . Hopefully next time your Avic pink toe will surprise you with a whole bunch of live nymphs . I do hope these ones survive , but they certainly did not look very lively ,very sluggish with their movements . So i think you certainly made the right choice to pull the egg sack when you did .
Are these spiders particular, sensitive? We have just rehoused a juvenile and it seems to have curled up. It's still alive and moving, just not very happy. Great video. Thanks Dave and Mrs camera lady. Xxx
@daveslittlebeasties Thankyou for the advice Dave, sadly the spider died this morning. Heartbroken as I really wanted this one in my collection. Do you have any at the moment? Thankyou.
Hi Dave, after watching these videos for some time now, those babies look a little dehydrated to me...Will be good to see how they are in a week or two....I am in no way an expert or even a spider keeper, as I say this is just my opinion from watching your channel....
How's going Boss another smashing video with more top quality footage and information as always. I am contacting you again cause I messaged you through Facebook but I don't think you got my message or you just been busy it's regarding possibly selling you some spider's I contacted you while back about selling couple different chilobrachys let me know either way nice one.
I have long wondered why you don't wear nitrile or plastic gloves. And why not scissor off the excess sack once you have torn it open? Get it right out of the way and stop snagging on it. I appreciate how very careful you are with your hairy eight legged dependents. Your interest in the science of keeping and breeding spiders is MUCH MORE INTERESTING that watching someone handle and invariably damage their spiders. You always have dynamite video - thank you camera lady - and very interesting philosophical treatise on everything tarantula. Totally the best sight for great information.
18:38... Not a raging success?!^^ I get it, but u coulda had zero (givin' the circumstances), u got 19 nymphs (?) instead, that's a huge success in MY book!^^ \O>
I pulled at 48 days, nymphs. Molted imto slings 4 days later. Kept at 82⁰ the entire time. Incei paired, sac laid 14 days later, then emerged 27 days later. Amazing how different each species brumation periods are
Hey Dave n camera lady… Just wondering, when you have this situation, and the mini slings are a bit odd, can u put a few fruit flies in the pot… maybe a bit of food to help development? As they had molted in sac… Keep up the good work!
Seems like there wasn't THAT much "funky party" on that male, huh... So many unfertilized eggs. 🤷♂️ Nature is, what it is. I am still suoer happt, that you guys continue to breed your tarantulas, so that they stay in the hobby, without putting more pressure on the wild populations.
Shes like "dont take my babies >.>" what sorta of camera you use for the close ups?:) i just get blurry when i try D: looking forward to seeing if these little dudes grow :D
Is the mother supposed to tear open the eggsack after some time to let little ones out? Or are the little ones supposed to tear the eggack from the inside?
19 is better than none. We carry on.
Awwww I'd get emotionally attached and keep all of these babies 😅 They're the survivors!

The second sling that you took from the sac, literally crawled up onto your stick like, "Oh, thank you! Help has come"! ❤
😂❤️👍

Awww. How sad😢 it looked so promising at first...such a lovely clean Egg sac. Fingers crossed for the little ones to make it🤞🍀
Following your "build" videos, we know which builder to use! If only we knew which electrician NOT to use!!!!!
We have. a new one on board now 👌
I just seperated 97 Avic avic M6 slings. Beautiful species!
Very nice!👌

Amazing the way they protect their young. Very interesting video as usual. I do hope they survive. If anyone can get them along it's you!!
Thank you 🙏
Really enjoyed this series of videos you have done, thanks for sharing this.😊
That danm electrician!
I was about the say the same 😂
Good timing Dave!!! And good result, something is better than nothing 😊
You got that right!
Panama Blonde is still I think my favorite tarantula. I don't have any tarantulas yet, but the psalmopeus genus has me really intrigued.
I have a Psalmopoeus Pulcher, she's stunning ❤
My one regal jumping spider keeps having egg sacks so now I have bunch little jumpers 😊
Hi Dave 🕷 and Camera 📷 lady
Great vid Dave hope most of the lil ones survive great work Camera Lady
My favorite spider! I just love the little pink toes!
They are such a pretty spider! Especially the females. I've had 2 and they've both matured into males.
Hopefully you pulled them just in time and the next 24 hours in the cup will do them some good on a high shelf where it’s nice and humid. Fingers crossed
so it's the lower humidity inside eggsack that was killing them? or also low oxygen?
Hello dear Dave and Sweet Camera Lady and that spider with its pink toes are cute 😍🕷👍! We are having the end of a heat 🥵 wave in Sweden 🇸🇪 and we did have a tropical night to this past night 🌙, it was not so fun! We also had dry thunderstorms with a lot of lighting this early morning!

So does it matter that you left a few babies upside down? Just curious. Sorry you were only able to get a small sack.
You should’ve let Camera Lady have a go at the sack. She’s got good hands…at least I think she does😁😁
I hope your babies make it. They are cuties.
