Your big bookshelf looks deep enough that you could probably place the books in the back on risers (maybe something like shoe boxes?) so you can still see them and layer another row of books in front of them. That should get you enough space to move some of your book cart overflow onto just the bottom shelf or whatever.

In terms of book recommendations, my favourite fantasy book is probably "The Cruel Prince". If you want a romance, I recommend "Love, Theoretically" or "The Hating Game" :)
