Saaattch you can actually do a creator-based hacks videos. I’d love to watch you try and SCORE the hacks like in your other hack videos. But please game test them too because they sometimes don’t work. For instance, you gotta place the bed hovering (like the glorified prison hack) so that the sims can walk on the platform freely to get in the bed. Loving your brutally honest reviews for everything
A nice rule tip to the sims4, sims can function within a half tile.
my favourite use of quarter tile flooring is to use 2 or 3 tones of the same wood floor to make a nice chevron pattern for an art deco space. Looks great in art studios or long hallways in fancy builds.
am I the only one who absolutely hates when furniture flicker like those beds?
only time i dont mind it is if it only happens when youre moving the camera super fast. usually if its a table or counter i place things on that bit & its fine
The "put object in the basment" technique allow you to create so much stuff. It doesnt work if you start in the first floor tho lol. But you can create custom sinks, use couch as sitting for dinning chair, round beds using other objects and its all functional because the basement object doesnt collide with the other.
mitasims does a LOT of these. I subscribe to her and she uses the lap guides a lot. I just NEVER use move objects cheat because I don't trust that what I upload will actually work. Community: do you have issues when you download from the gallery builds that use move objects and does everything work?
Also, by the time you combine all these items, the price goes up. It's fine if it's for yourself, but if you are building to supply the gallery with basegame affordable builds, it's tough to keep the price down.
I usually do the floor hacks a lot. I make parquet floors (the woven pattern in the video). its a cheap way to make something that looks expensive. Thanks for going through these SatchonSims!
I love your trying-out-hacks-videos! Gives me some ideas for my own builds and it really helps that you go through them quite slowly since I'm not an advanced builder and the TikToks are usually too fast for me. So thank you!

I like using the colorful pot from jungle adventures and putting a sized down banana tree in it. The tree disappears when you're close to it in live mode, but it looks great if you want a tropical vibe.

If you click on an object and then press Shift and + or - you shift the color of the object.
Can't you do the canopy bed hack (I think that's what you called it) with only one bed? Why does it have to be two beds?
...how did I never think to try and stick something in the actual pots?
Idk if anyone here is the same but I can't do these hacks because in my mind I need Sims objects to be used the way they're intended. For example, using bar stools as plant pot bases would bother me because in my mind I need them to be stools still

I think it’s normal that the bed are clipping.
In my game, now, i have strange visuals color’s differences with the floors, walls, sometimes with furnitures too. I don’t know why.. (maybe cause my games are not official and needs updates but when I see the numbers of simmers having issues with their official updated games, I wonder 😅 )
My game is official and still some wallpapers look different shades until I specifically touch that wall or sometimes I just go with it. It happens to bigger youtubers in the network and then I’ve realized we’re on the same boat when it comes to lighting… btw the base game is free for everyone and they should be adding new stuff with each pack in case you wanna get the official base one
The "not official" game lol works exactly like the paid version dont worry.
@@augusto7681 Not always. A friend of mine has the "gameplay options" disabled, cannot control independence, lifespan and the like. Bummer!
@@irmar That's unusual, maybe she installed something wrong. Mine work like the official. UI mods can break the game interface if it's outdated. Not sure if your friend use any.
Ok, I like the little mini apartment thing. I might try it to see if it works if you put the bed on top of the "shelving", maybe halfway over. If it works for the sim to use the bed right by the wall like that could you make a 1x3 bedroom? crazy.
I've done the carpet thing in Sims 3.
So, they did put the bed as far over as it will go. I'm just putting a rug where all that shelving is to hide it because it kinda looks tacky. But altogether it does make for a really good tiny house.
Alright, I've been working on it for hours and I cannot make that area with the bed look good. It doesn't accept a rug over the open area and the part with the "shelving" glitches and looks tacky. Nope, not having it.

Oh I've definitely done the plant "hack" with vases and urns in Sims 3, maybe if I ever feel like turning Sims 4 back on I'll try it and some of these other ideas, lol
Everyone is SO creative
Anything where you have to make a basement is an immediate “no” for me. That’s doing a little too much. I like the simple, uncomplicated hacks.

I would have used the decoration with a hole in it for a wall divider, lining up two horizontally side by side, and placing plants in the center of each circle in one of the garden pots from Outdoor Activities, imagine seeing this outside along the walkway, or giving shade to the porch.
Maybe this will inspire me to do weird things with stuff on Sims because I suspect those vases they intended that to begin with. XD

I love the carpet one. It's so difficult to find a carpet that both matches the furniture and is also an appropriate size for the room. This will make carpets so much easier to match

You surely need moveobjects.
I use the pots from jungle adventure for plants. The bowl decoration from dream home decorator works also as a good plant stand
