Very cool. I just got a 1967 Trophy T100 scrambler last month. Those Triumph scrambler 500s always reminded me of Schwinn Stingrays. Lovin it. The Trophy sits in my front room with my four Harleys.
I used to own a 1968 650 triumph had a 42 inch duel springer chopper front end under it it was a fun bike to ride it also had a hard tail seat under it I had fun with it
That is a nice looking bonnie, she sound’s good as well.they don’t like been awoken from their slumber. I have a 66 and 69 T120R these triumph’s are real classy looking bike’s. Best wishes from the UK.
The old bonnys like a lot of fuel to start them up and if im not mistaken your bike was running on one cylender at idle in the beginning?how ever she sounds and looks gorgeous
The choke is just to start it he forgot and didnt notice it wasnt running right. He also turned on both Gas taps, One is a reserve he just doesnt know.
@@leaflee2066 Some people remove them, but the Amal carbs came with a choke. It appears he has his installed. You can see the choke lever on the right side of the handlebars.
You’re making this way more difficult than it should be

Can’t wait for the snow to clear and warmer weather.
Good Bike❤
4:00 he is driving away with the Choke on full. I never put the bike in gear with the choke enabled.

Missing my 69 Bonnie
Check the Oil circulation, Oil pressure light was "On"
Watch that shoelace loop on the shifter. You ain't lived till you've tried to put your foot down with it lassoed around it! ~DU69160
I remember the good old days when we had flared trousers and when you put your foot down the bottoms caught on the footpeg………… aaaaand down you go!
My 64 Bonnie starts 1st kick
This guy just doesnt know triumph. Opens both gas valves and runs with full choke.
Great bike. Did you forget to turn the choke off once you were out on the road?

These bikes don't have chokes.

@@leaflee2066 What is the small chrome lever on the right side of the handle bar for ? You know nothing about triumph.
Yeah, I have to kick my 67 like 5, 10, or 30 times as well to get her started 🤣 good looking bike though.
You need to learn to hear when the engine is not happy. Turn the choke off earlier and do the bike a favour. Can’t you hear it hunting?
He really has no idea or just has more money than awareness.
appreciate the feedback
